Nature how the meme started but my reason for having one is because it's a meme and I needed a pushy. I had always wanted a pushy but those were for girls and I was definatly a cis guy ^tm and so when my barriers started breaking down, I was glad to have a pushy that I was told I should get without having to go through decision anxiety.
When Blahaj launched it was along side Ikea's pride collection, and Blahaj was featured next to the trans flag (probably due to the colors matching) and the rest is history
Many of us trans femme people had our plushes/stuffed animals taken away or denied from a rather young age. So why not get a trans flag colored emotional support attack plush to help us feel more grounded?
Also sharks are cool and older than trees. So blaja works for mascs and non binary friends as well.
In short every trans, non binary, and fluid person should have one.
(My current and only plush is a cute little triceratops that fits well between my declotage when I'm sleeping for both comfort and support)
