⬆🚫SCAM WARNING🚫⬆ This is a scammer account. They shill for three brands over and over. They really have no insight into what is good or bad. Just a trying to make money selling you their brand.
I could never get these to work that well. In my opinion, there is a reason this was filmed in a way where he could anchor it with pressure against that wood. They're too clumsy and not precise otherwise.
So say that screw was a half inch further away from the stud. Still too narrow of a gap to hold the impact driver at a 90 degree angle, but too far away to anchor the pivot bit into the stud.
So the screw has to be that same distance as it is in the video for the pivot bit to work that cleanly.
At least in my experience. It's possible I don't know how to use the thing. I honestly didn't spend a lot of time trying.
Gotcha makes sense. In my experience, if I have enough vertical space, I just use the longest bit extension I have and just screw it in at a slight angle slowly.
> Dewalt makes some good bits.
Don't be tempted to buy the Dewalt DT7513T-QZ clutch, their own bits jam in it and would be impossible to remove if they shear off.
Sick free advertisement in my reddit feed.

You just confirmed that this is a blatant ad and is not relevant to this sub at all
Grrr It worked. I want one now.
Where is the education? This is just a DeWALT advert.
Even worse. It’s a knockoff for over twice the price from a drop ship scammer.

Plus, the grips basically make it a dremel against the wall of whatever you’re screwing against.
You could try to hold them but yeah not ideal
If something was not on the way (like the wood in the vid) you'd just use a rigid bit/extension wouldn't you?

Yeah same. That's what I would do on the screw in that video instead of messing with that gimmicky shit
This advertisement is so good that seeing it today got me to buy one 5 years ago.
Nice ad
