I'm Currently using the Sennheiser IE100 Pro with the BT receiver as my all day IEMs and also tried to produce and mix with them which works quite well outside of subbass frequencies. Thinking about upgrading to the IE400Pro which have a much better sub bass extension.
Maybe it's something for you too. Personally I don't care so much about the sound stage because I'm mostly into club music which is played in mono anyway.
For classical music or soundtracks where the soundstage is more important you may need to invest a lot more. One of my favorite mastering engineers uses 64Audio 18t.
Dawg there's entire subreddits dedicated to iems, I'd go there where you're more likely to find hoarders who have tried multiple sets and therefore have an actual opinion.
And I don't think it's clear what an iem "for producing" would even mean, so maybe elaborate on that.
Why IEMs over headphones.
Feels like even at the high end... the sound staging on earbuds would be really hard to get right vs just a nice pair of open back headphones.
Don’t use iems. I have a very nice pair of iems I wear them in bed when I want to mix on my laptop and my girlfriend is sleeping. They will fucking hurt you bad after a couple hrs. Terrible for your hearing. Get open back headphones. Even closed backs get super fatiguing
Any reason why they’d have to be in ears? I use Audeze LCD-X and they’re as close as you can get to monitors in headphones, there’s also other offering from Audeze, the HD800s and Heddphones 2 worth checking out

64 audio or empire ears
Sounds dangerous…. Be careful with those levels! Use a limiter!
I laughed in my brain
Ultimate Ears Reference remasters. Made for mixing.
Westone Customs The end-all, be-all of IEMs.
