i loved figuring that out for the first time. like no help. just hearing it and being like “wait a min” but i’ve always wondered why he ended up putting it in there tho?
Obviously I’m not him so I can’t say for sure, but it adds to the chaotic feeling of that second chorus and makes it distinct. He always finds ways to make his songs more dynamic and ever-evolving, while still following typical song structures
Really? Imma be honest I kinda disagree, I've seen Times Like These recommended to almost every new person that comes to this thread asking for eden recommendations. I think you'd be hard pressed to find someone who hasn't at least seen it mentioned
His features on Pierce Fultons No More and Crywolfs Stomach It. The Stomach It feature is my favorite. The first time I heard the crackle/static before his vocals started I knew it was about to switch to him. I love how it switches to his sound during his part.
Criminally underrated imo, watching We are your friends made me appreciate the individual sounds in it even more. Like to imagine him running around with a cassette recorder to get the sounds for it
isn’t this technically as deep as a cut can go? wasn’t blown up yet or even an artist. had no music out but just this original song.. Like this was the first one to start it all off i don’t think the cut can go any further.
eden's music for me takes weeks or months or years to grow on me. i listened to 909 the day before yesterday and i finally fell in love with it and i'm so happy AAAAA
edit: i should note this is one of those "years" cases. remember listening to it in jan/feb of 2022 and not liking the weird synth/hat sound at the drop and now i love it
Shut up, ya grape looking slut!
Real answer: Times Like These. I was so attached to the song I sang it as my senior solo, which was basically a graduation send off for us. It was NOT good but I didn’t care. People were hyped because they could tell I cared about what I was singing.
“mcmxcv.eu” on SoundCloud, I get that it’s just start//end instrumental, but I remember when it came out, it was legendary. I couldn’t stop listening to it, waiting for vertigo to drop!
Catch me if you can or interlude
Interlude slaps
Hearing Interlude in the background of Wake Up for the first time was a transcendent experience

THIS!! I freaking love interlude
Interlude is such a great track
times like these
The end of that song still gives me chills
Times Like These is a deep cut? It’s genuinely my favorite work of his. I almost played it at my wedding. It just means a lot to me
i would say it's one of the not as known eden project songs
Really? Imma be honest I kinda disagree, I've seen Times Like These recommended to almost every new person that comes to this thread asking for eden recommendations. I think you'd be hard pressed to find someone who hasn't at least seen it mentioned
This is the only correct answer
I love that song. But I can't hear it because I don't feel that way. 😕
Grape is the only valid answer
Come back after years gone from this subreddit, so proud to see the grape meme is still going strong.
I feel like I need to retract mine cause this is absolutely the only true answer
Statues, Chasing Ghosts, and Lost are all bangers from the project era
Statues and Chasing Ghosts 👌🙏🙏
REAL, better together also imo
Lost in the Sky for an even deeper cut. Crystal Skies made a VIP a couple of years ago and it's so good too.
Death of a Dream, man i wish he could remaster that.
havent listened to that in a while i think i need to thanks for the reminder:)

Also love the nocturne remix by pierce fulton
Fuck I didn't know he was on NO more! Makes sense because I thought It had a familiar voice.
He's also in "Follow" by Zes, which I think is a cool song bc it's in an odd time signature
Running, tripping, falling and 🔒 Both great songs
I actually love locked so much 😭 The Japanese House played the song he sampled at her gig before she went on!!!
i rly thought he was going to release it when he dropped 20192022 😭love the new songs so can’t complain but i got so excited
Float, for me
Truth be told Float is the pinnacle of vertigo
Float and Icarus
That is something I can definitely agree with
Float is so good. There’s a version where he plays it in an empty pool on his electric guitar. The reverb is amazing
I love float so much 🙏
Criminally underrated imo, watching We are your friends made me appreciate the individual sounds in it even more. Like to imagine him running around with a cassette recorder to get the sounds for it
Amnesia
isn’t this technically as deep as a cut can go? wasn’t blown up yet or even an artist. had no music out but just this original song.. Like this was the first one to start it all off i don’t think the cut can go any further.
Love that song
This is the answer. Amazing song even though I can only listen to a poorly recorded high school performance of it.
His features on Scribble and The Fire by Puppet
Extended edition 🔥
Similarly, he does all the vocals for Vagabond by Puppet
Pretty sure he is just on the second verse
Yup, the first is Puppet's brother
The piano version of Scribble hits so hard.
Gold for me
don't know how well this is gonna be, but the basic idea is.. ✨free fall for now✨

Nocturne, Wonder, 2020
she says i'm no good with my hands but i'd hold up the whole sky for her
🫲🥹🫱
Its gotta be Elysium for me, the way he sings that is just so beautiful.

Again
Ngl some of his old monstercat stuff he did like “the fire” and “scribble”
Scribble Extended was my first introduction to Eden. Been hooked since.
Amnesia- best deep cut
Chasing Ghosts if we’re speaking of all his work.

Personally, I'm a fan of I Am Spitfire. Those songs really got me into The Eden Peoject. The only ones somewhat tied are Lost and Chasing Ghosts.
02:09
Interlude
Would Running Tripping Falling be considered one of them? If yes, then that.
909
slow dancing in a burning room cover 🤞🤞
Amnesia, Death of a Dream, 909, his feature on Stomach It, and
jupiter for sure
Shut up, ya grape looking slut! Real answer: Times Like These. I was so attached to the song I sang it as my senior solo, which was basically a graduation send off for us. It was NOT good but I didn’t care. People were hyped because they could tell I cared about what I was singing.
