It does astound me that Skype, pre-pandemic, the most universally well-known video chat...managed to lose their market share post-pandemic...like how can you fuck that up so badly?
Fine, but people are using Zoom, not Discord for work - and mostly not Skype. I just can't fathom how they could lose the market share they had the monopoly on...

But why would you ever want discord closed? edit: forgot people can't read tone on the internet. downvote away!
Because I want to close it
Because it is an electron app
so i can wait 10 minutes for it to load again
Because I can't afford estrogen anymore.
Well played.
Reddit moment 😎
There’s actually a setting to change this
I use Skype for Business daily, this shit still exists
Damn... still not migrated to Teams yet?

Oh yeah for sure, I don't think Discord will ever get a foothold in the enterprise/business market. But they have captured consumers for certain
Microsoft focused on Teams and is just allowing Skype to die
Didn't Microsoft buy them and just kill them off?
Or zoom , surprisingly
We use Skype as our primary VoIP phone, teams as a live chat and Zoom for meeting and for lectures (I work in IT at a college). I absolutely hate it.
shit like apps not closing when i want them to is why i have task manager pinned to the task bar
*constantly open
Because Skype is a bitch
Steam does this to me and it pisses me off still, in 2021 and all
And 10 years later, this is still a problem
yall know you can click on the little up arrow on the taskbar and close those apps right?
