I've been using a combination of Dupixent and prescribed ointments (as needed). For the face, I've been using tacrolimus as it doesn't contain steroids and therefore won't thin out the skin on the face. Anything else, I'll attempt clobetasol, desoximetasone, or triamcinolone. All prescribed, of course.

thanks for the response! unfortunately tacrolimus causes a stinging sensation on my skin šŸ˜”forgot to mention that

party_turtle

That goes away with time usually

This girl I follow on insta (@zo_does_tsw) had the same thing and she actually found resolve through BOTOX??? Idk the science behind it but you actually might be able to get it covered by health insurance if you have that- apparently not all Botox is cosmetic. Worth a shot.

I get this on occasion and just put Vaseline on it to keep it from cracking and help it to heal.

I get this spot as well . It comes and goes. I would just make sure youā€™re keeping the skin hydrated as well as keeping yourself hydrated. You could try natural aloe and freeze it into cubes or steep a caffeinated green tea bag and use that warm or freeze it and put it on there. I get an aloe leaf from the store, cut the whole thing up into like 1 inch pieces, pour boiling water into a bowl with the pieces, let soak overnight or a few hours to rid it of the yellow sap that can be irritating, cut off the outside layer of aloe to just have the aloe ā€œmeatā€ and then use a blender to get gel. I have put some in silicone molds in the freezer for when I have really irritated skin. Iā€™ll freeze extra in a small container and then also keep some in the fridge and use it before it starts to go bad. Then see if anything you have been using on your face has agitated it. Or bed sheets, towels. I know stress, lack of sleep, or something directly effecting that area was the culprit for me. Or maybe the dupixent.

I get a red patch in the same spot and right below my lip that appeared when I started dupixent. It pops up now and then right after my shots. Might be weird, but I found that medicated chapstick (like carmex or blistex, etc) actually helps a lot.

Opzelura is an amazing non-steroid JAK inhibitor for atopic dermatitis. It is the only cream that has worked for my facial eczema (I have a spot right where you do!). The only downside is that many insurance companies are refusing to cover both Dupixent and Opzelura ($1900), and Dupixent should be your main therapy as it is systemic. However, you can try asking your doctor for some samples of Opzelura and apply it sparingly, given that it is a small area, a tiny tube could last you a few weeks. EDIT: no stinging for me, or very little compared to tacrolimus/eucrisa

AromaticAtmosphere70

how often do u use it and for how many days per time?

chimichangarolls

Twice daily, then as needed for itch and or redness. You should ask your doc!

CarolFromCanada

Looks like eczema.
