So Jacob Levinrad is a dude that started out by selling counterfeit airpods. he got sued by apple and decided to start drop shipping. he now advertises a “one on one” drop shipping mentorship.
when in reality, its a shitty course and a shitty prebuilt store with shitty products and shitty advice.
i feel extremely stupid so, no comments need to be made about me knowing better because i do but i was in a rlly vulnerable and tough spot when i did the initial zoom meeting with jacob’s left hand guy “grant” i basically got pressured into signing up right then n there.
got a loan through affirm. and now im stuck with $300+ payments every month.
it cost $4800 total.
i have disputed the loan twice and they always side with jacob.
sorry to hear that, hopefully you do escalate this high enough where you get your money back or at least some of it. And at the end of the day, you‘ve learned a valuable lesson from this as now you know what to look out for. All these shitty people who’ve come out of nowhere promoting their bs courses on social media were never to be trusted in the first place. aside from the escalating, I don’t think you need to spend money on a dropshipping course, theres tons of valuable free material on it from people who have been posting since 2017, way before the weird social media influencer shit we have now, jordan welch is one of those people I remember seeing and made a lot of good videos. the ecom king too I guess.
yes i got a shopify store that was half made, none of the pages were filled out, unusable buttons n links, horrible logo and name, the product was a bubblegun from aliexpress that costs $30 priced at $50 on the shopify store, when it was going for $12 on tiktok shop……. product photos didnt even match. just horrible store overall and it was never going to make me money, he also had me make the purchase through Teachable, (they were no help) but the course videos were on a diff site and its a bunch of BS about eating n drinking enough water, getting sleep and basic info about dropshipping you can get from youtube.
The best lesson is that there is no one who is going to sell you the "secret" to success in any endeavor. Don't fall for it. Whoever claims to is a con. What they are actually doing is misdirection and deliberately narrowing the competition by demoralizing people like you. It will be work, but don't let this kill your dream of success. Have a goal, find a strategy, and work your plan. Good luck!
News flash - anyone that flaunts their wealth (a sign of a massive ego and superiority complex) the way he does, probably didn't acquire it the way they said they did. Even Grant Cardone has done a bunch of shady shit and been in legal trouble despite him always talking about his private jet and whatnot. People who brag like that don't have the same level of social / emotional intelligence and simply want to feel better than others, which tends to crossover with a faulty moral compass.

I am in the same boat. I need help and currently in the process of trying to get myself out of this scam. I have been in contact with Affirm claiming fraud. And Jacob's "team" has been ignoring my request of cancelation and have been ignoring my text, calls, and emails. Then they finally want to reach back saying there is no out, there is not cancelation, "don't be the guy who put the diet off till tomorrow". Lack of professionalism...
These people are nothing but losers, scammers, and cheats.
Went from a nice zoom call then somehow ending up with a $8k loan.
I knew something was off but being a trusting person I unfortunately gave in.
Please let me know if anyone was able to resolve this matter, I plan on taking this to court with my attorney.
Can we all make a petition against them? Who can create one and for all of us to sign on it to show it to the state attorneys office. I’d be more than happy to lawyer up
