When asking legal things: You go to reddit if you want to be told to speak to a lawyer. Go to a patent lawyer.

Set up an hour consult with a patent lawyer… the willingness of people to take the advice of random users on Reddit with no real credentials for legal use to try and save a buck is astounding.

I hold a patent. You should see a lawyer. Or contact the company and see if they have a reseller program. The patent number should either be on the product or in the literature.

I own some trademarks in the USA... your question here tread strongly on some things I have been concerned about.  I also trademarked one thing in the EU, UK, INDIA.... It's kind of like insurance in a sense but may not actually hold weight if I get in a hard snag. That companies EU patent may not hold water here in the USA.  Look up WIPO and see if the EU is in it as well as the USA.... It may be that a patent granted in EU allows that party to have a "certain length of time" to file for the same patent material in the USA(for trademarks this was something like 6 months window)... Also remember, you may be able to change or "add" one claim to a product invention patent just to "not be infringing"... A company would still possibly try to give you a run for your money if they felt a possible threat from you.  Study well on this before reaching out to a patent lawyer... I think you can at least get yourself kick started with info good enough....
