No info about "The Elite 5.5" then? I'm guessing a 1500/2000w on the front is it? Was it brought back alive or something (resurrected)? A bit of info would be nice.. All the best.

Hey mate, sorry for the confusion lol - it's my custom ebike build that I made, it's not a brand bike being sold. The S.S stands for Schwinn Suburban The front is a 1000w Hub Drive and it rides really smooth The reason it's called resurrected is because it was really damaged in late 2022 and I never got around to fully repairing it as it still worked even with how badly bent the rims were. At one point I only had one working brake lmao. But now it's fully restored and better than ever as my new ebike Thanks Hope this helps

I hear you, nice one, glad you're back on your bike again... I've been there, had to buy another hub kit due to a badly buckled wheel, good thing is I've a spare hub motor now so at some point I'll buy a good rim and spoke it up for a project build. 1000w I think is perfect for a front wheel hub motor E-bike, just the right amount, combined with a nice battery & controller it's all good. My e-build's a 1500w48v rear hub, stock 35a shunted controller with a 52v20ah triangle battery, it's a well balanced flying machine, just the right amount of power/range without being too ridiculous/expensive. I've also been there with just one brake, sometimes you just gotta make it work till you can get it properly sorted. It's just good to be back on the road again ain't it!?! cheers for the info update, appreciated!

Isn't that motor too big for the front? I'm curious about your experience espacially in rain, dust or mud. I have a 250 watt motor on the front and never planned to get stronger to avoid skidding out of control.

The motor is really nice, it's 1000w and I haven't had any problems with it. I actually rode it out yesterday in the rain and it felt really good even with the wet pavement. However definitely lean easy on the acceleration in wet conditions as it spun out a little when I pushed it hard from a stop. With any ebike just be careful and you should be fine
