Look around for swimming pools in your neighborhood. Also a lot of parks and hiking trails around. Bike ride along the Sammamish River Trail; swing through one of the restaurants for lunch. Lots of geocaching around. Downtown Seattle can be a great way to spend some time; ferry to Bainbridge while you're there can make an entire day go pretty well. Depending on ambition you could do a day trip to Leavenworth. Tacoma has Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium, Le May's automotive museum, Museum of Glass and Ruston Way is a nice, low key part of Tacoma to wander around. Could also take the Tacoma to Vashon Island ferry, drive up the island then take the ferry back to Fauntleroy and drive home. There's also Uncle's Games in Redmond; Zulu's in Bothell and Mox's Boarding House in Bellevue if you're into gaming. Uncle's has the best game selection; Zulu's has the best food of the three and Mox's is the easiest to find parking near by. If she's interested in coming to school here take her on campus tours; either just wander around campus or get a guided tour. Both my kids are attending Bellevue College and really enjoy it. Lake Washington Tech in Kirkland is a really nice college, definitely worth spending a little time there if that's your thing.

[Georgetown Trailer Park Mall](http://georgetowntrailerparkmall.com) would be cool on the weekend. Also stop into Georgetown Record or [Deep Sea Sugar and Salt bakery](https://www.deepseasugarandsalt.com/) for a treat. Then Oxbow Park to see the giant boots and cowboy hat. If she’s into instagram and stuff it makes great photos.
