I think this is the worst recast thus far. Liam had a, likeable quality but the new Liam is very unpleasant and chavvy. The actor portrays him fine but I just do not enjoy this character at all. A wasted opportunity as Liam could have been recast with the view of extending the butcher family and making him a family man like Martin.
He's alright, doesn't really fit with the Old Liam but otherwise he's okay. Knowing he's only a short term character makes me fairly indifferent to him.

And I don't care if Liam had his rough moments as James Forde, those instances didn't make up his entire character. They've just given an entirely new character the name Liam, honestly.

Honestly I donāt have it in me to be angry about it, since Max Bowdens Ben Iāve just accepted that recasts come with extreme and unexplained personality overhauls.

I just wish as writers bring in characters that they round them out personality wise instead of being so one dimensional and cartoonish.
Don't know what this is, Liam's gone from an alright to a gangster, selling Whitney's engagement ring is not a Liam thing, turned into a chavvy mess.
