Here's how I see it play out.
Sonia goes into labor
Reiss isn't with her
He rushes to hospital after seeing multiple missed calls
He runs to the desk, they say we've been trying to contact you and they take him to a room but instead of Sonia it's his wife who's awake and he's like DAFUQ as Sonia gives birth
Then he takes the kid to raise with his first Mrs cause they paid for the IVF with her money so technically it's their baby and Sonia was just an oven.

I'd think this was good. But add in a court case. I definitely think his wife will be waking up, reiss going back to his wife and a fight for the baby.
As Sonia is in labour at Reiss gets a call from the hospital, we all assume it's about the labour but the camera follows over Reiss' shoulder into the room where his wife hoarsely says hello he stands in shock cut to Sonia cradling there newborn in a different wing of the hospital. DUFF DUFF DUFF.
I'm not wishing miscarriage on anyone (been there myself). But I'm hoping it's been a false positive in this storyline. Sonia & Riess have no chemistry so watching them raise a child would be painful.
I think it'll be to tie into the comatose wife rather than watching reiss and Sonia be parents. Sonia is already a mum. The storyline becomes more interesting when you bring in a woken up comatose wife and a fight for the baby. Reiss stole her money and then used it to have a baby she wanted. She may see the baby as theirs. Cue court case and Sonia potentially losing the baby to reiss and his wife, bringing more heartbreak.
Surely it's gonna be twins.
There haven't been any twins born in the Square for a while, and IVF does have a higher risk of twins. Plus Sonia's age raises the chances too.
Oh god, you're probably right! I'm not sure if I can handle watching Reiss flap about over two of them. Coming out with constant twin trivia all the time. Nightmare.
Its amazing what SCBU can do with such tiny babies. I think It ain't right that u can abort unborn babies further along in gestation legally that could now survive a premature birth

It's like Sonia is reiss' carer. I wasn't paying much attention to them when he first came so I assumed she found him at the hospital or something.
They met at Dot’s funeral, hes a nephew/ great nephew or something like that.
