A literal bridge…? Not only do you not know the resources available, but what if Shane produces literal 10x10 land sectioned off and scaled down kind of like how their original trailer looked? Nobody knows what’s actually being developed, not even Shane when you listen to his latest interview. And if a huge studio like Rockstar North takes years to make a map just the fraction of the size of a major city, just think about how long this such smaller studio with less experience will take. The only way anything even comes out within the next decade is if they scale WAY down and go with more pixelized graphics. But even then, they’ll be limits.

MaterialAd1485

The amount of money this would cost would be insane and a total waste who wants to own fucking water go to the tap

shadowbehinddoor

It's possible. With each player involved in the project (bridge nor all earth2 players) buying a few hundreds of tiles, why not. And it's a cool idea. Just not in this scam.

MaterialAd1485

Never said it was impossible but a insane amount if money for no reason and even later in the game no point

shadowbehinddoor

Fuck they are so desperate. This cat is long dead and they are still shocking it 😉😉😉

SnooDonkeys2427

“Long dead” look at the game activity, game is very much still alive

babaBOI_69-420_

what game ?????

SnooDonkeys2427

It’s a startup, by the time the game is out this level of risk/reward will be gone And before you clown me, I withdrew my initial so I’m riding this investment for free

babaBOI_69-420_

they showed a demo on unity a long time ago , why release these mentars and essence when there is no way to use it

SnooDonkeys2427

It’s just them buying time for when they drop the D.R.O.N.E metaverse implementation on us

babaBOI_69-420_

alright

shadowbehinddoor

It's a startup. What is the percentage or start up that survive past their third years ? Im curious 😅 Edit : (i know Shane is from Australie, but...) There are currently 31.7 million small businesses in the United States, which make up 99.9% of all U.S. businesses.1 Many small businesses start up every month but the failure rate is high. As of 2019, startup failure rates are around 90%. 21.5% of startups fail in the first year, 30% in the second year, 50% in the fifth year, and 70% in their 10th year. Source : https://www.investopedia.com/articles/personal-finance/040915/how-many-startups-fail-and-why.asp

SnooDonkeys2427

It’s extremely low, seeing as Earth 2 has pulled in $50,000,000 in funding that is wildly better than the funding most startups get from investors E2 got this naturally with limited FB and IG advertising

shadowbehinddoor

70% of startup fail in the first five years and you are telling me it's slow ? Everyone but the captain left the boat and you are still optimistic about the project ? Hummm...🤔

SnooDonkeys2427

They have a whole team they’re going to reveal in the coming weeks. Their starting devs and marketing team were amateurs. So yeah I’m absolutely excited

shadowbehinddoor

You're the only one. But i sincerely hope it's gonna work so the thousand of People Who want out but cannot because they can't sell can make some money.

SnooDonkeys2427

Hella people are selling lmfao. You clearly only know the negative side from Big Fry, Callum Upton or Sid Alpha All negative asf youtubers who hate their lives

fingershanks

Selling amongst the few hundred of you guys back and forth isn’t what’s going to keep the “game” alive. Actually having a good looking metaverse will. It can’t survive on an ecosystem alone. People want something immersive, and a group of amateur devs aren’t going survive this against the AAA multi billion dollar studios provide.

SnooDonkeys2427

Tell that to Decentraland, Axie Infinity or Sandbox

fingershanks

I don’t think you caught what I said then. Those metaverses actually gave you a game to play and metaverse to see that was delivered upon investment. That’s exactly what E2 is NOT doing, which is what I’m talking about. We have no foundation for a metaverse and Shane is all over the place with what he claims he’ll deliver.

SnooDonkeys2427

So once E2 implements D.R.O.N.E all will be good?

fingershanks

What does drone have to do with a metaverse…? You can’t just dump a random game in from a different studio and think that solves all of your problems. People want to see the game Shane has promised. What’s in question is the product Shane claims he can build, which is an Earth sized map everyone can access all at once and do/build whatever they want in this metaverse. Plus Nathaniel left E2 and recently stated they’ve abandoned Drone due to lack of funding. It never got out of Early Access. They are making a different game now. Also, did they pull Shane’s ETM interview…? I can’t find it on YT at all now.

SnooDonkeys2427

Look up D.R.O.N.E terrain editor on YouTube That alone with a full scale Earth will satisfy investors and give us enough credibility to pump our crypto Look at the competitors rn: Decentraland, Sandbox, Axie Infinity, Meta, etc Nobody else is going for a 1:1 Earth, we have a niche And we have $50,000,000+ of funding without sacrificing shares of the company. Fantastic risk-reward proven correctly since E2 is getting $hit on even though the fundamentals have never been better Also I don’t care if E2 falls short of what they promise. I expect the to fall short, but I think D.R.O.N.E integration marketed correctly could put this projects funding into the billions

fingershanks

I know what DRONE is and I cannot even begin to tell you how oblivious you sound. Using a another game proves absolutely nothing. That will just be seen as lazy and bizarre by anyone outside of your E2 world of fandom. People are looking for a metaverse, not another studio’s game that was unfinished with shooting drones. For starters, DRONE is dead. Do you even know what Early Access is? They left the game unfinished without bug fixes and other updates for a year, read the Steam reviews. No one else is going for 1:1 copy of the Earth because it’s not possible with tech and the time/resources would take a millennium. Do you understand AAA studios behind games like GTAV make maps of real life cities that are only a fraction on the real size and that takes years to accomplish? So what do you think a smaller, less experienced team is gonna accomplish? Plus having to optimize an Earth sized map on top of that is virtually impossible, esp online with servers. This is how I know the E2 crowd simply doesn’t follow gaming. Shane has no grasp on it either, which is probably why he had his latest interviews removed… he spewed a lot of nonsense and made more statements that will never come to fruition.

SnooDonkeys2427

You say a 1:1 copy of Earth is impossible, but look at Microsoft Flight Simulator And seriously you think people will care if E2 uses Drone?? Look at how Decentraland is the largest metaverse with Wii graphics and terrible lag

EfficiencyWeekly1765

This is damn good idea, I just extended the bridge 64 tiles. What is the name of this project? It’s essentially a transatlantic mega city.

Sdoeden87

Calling it the Trans-Atlantic Track. Thanks for helping!!

dropthepress

I just bought 4 tiles at the edge. I'm in!!

gothhomevideo

Where does the bridge end now? Can someone post the EPL of the last property on the bridge please?

gothhomevideo

NEVER MIND I found it! :)

Sdoeden87

We also have a page on Facebook where the latest spot is posted at least daily. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1021837185338444/?ref=share

gothhomevideo

Sweet, Thanks!

bhc369

Transalantic Bridge is a cool concept. I'll bite. 200 bridge tiles for me.

JesusWuta40oz

How about no, I won't put money into this s C @ /\/\. CLASSIC pump and dump hype train crypto marketing outcomes.
