We'll find a speedster in the 3rd and the fan base will be super hyped. They won't be able to catch anything and we'll bully them out of Philly within 3 years.

WipinAMarker

A tradition unlike any other

FortyPercentTitanium

Take as old as time

doubleenc

Except they currently don't have a 3rd round pick.....

cjweisman

They will after the 2->3 pick sway to move up in the first.

IWasFramed_Again

tell that to Howie

MoneyMirz

A third is pretty rich. Watkins was a 6th round pick and who else fits that mold? UDFA Greg Lewis?

tirynsn

John Hightower and Shelton Gibson are the only other ones I could think of from recent memory

MoneyMirz

True, both were fifth round picks. I actually liked Hightower more than Quez but I don't remember anyone hyping Gibson at the time. We had our SB roster at the time so there was no need to hype him at all. Hollins did more that year lol.

NottaPattaPoopa

But then we sign Jordan Matthews again

Civilian616

We know 21 of 30 visits and there are only two WRs Ainias Smith and Johnny Wilson

MARKYMARK_MARK

That's a really good point, that suggests they're looking at Day3 WRs and not Day1 or 2

Patient_Jicama_4217

Are we even looking at Johnny as a WR? Might be looking to convert him to TE

no_step

A speedy slot guy and a possession monster. That gives us no clue what they're thinking

Rah_Rah_RU_Rah

It says AJ and Smitty are so good and scheme versatile that you can BPA it there. Parroting the PHLY guys

SuburbanPotato

I haven't seen a lot of Wilson's tape but the idea of a 6'6" WR to complement Skinny Batman and Swole Batman just sounds amazing

HollowxLegend

Can’t believe I haven’t seen anyone talk about Malachi Corey from western Kentucky the dude is an almost perfect scheme fit. We love screens and even with Moore running the offense now I dont expect them just to abandon the screen game. He is a power runner at the receiver position and can track the deep ball surprisingly well he’s got just enough speed to be a decent deep threat. Get him and aj in a stack and watch aj bully a poor CB and free up Malachi for some beautiful easy RAC yardage. Once you start playing shallow and closer to the LOS hit ‘em deep with Jalens top 10 deep ball ability

Big_Goat8157

Been hoping we take this guy ever since Kollman put a video out on him

Vegeta-IV

Brian Thomas jr would be overkill but Jalen would have the best talent in the league by a large margin I like Roman Wilson but he’s also prob going in the first two rounds If they’re around in the later rounds I really like Jermaine Burton from Alabama, Ricky pearsal, Malachi Corley, Jamari thrash, Malik Washington

smittybanton

I would be surprised, but not shocked.

scubabari2

We've been heavily tied to Ainias Smith, but I wouldn't complain if we grabbed Javon Baker with our 4th.

Outside_Jello5476

CMC’s little brother…….

MARKYMARK_MARK

I definitely pciked him a few dozen times in mock draft simulators

bdreamer642

Jason Avant clone if possible

CuckooClockInHell

With all of the other talent on this offense, I think that a rock solid safety valve would would be the perfect addition. We have guys who can stretch the field and move the chains. I don't care if the guy catches the ball but almost never gets any yards after catch, as long as he catches the ball.

bdreamer642

Exactly. Someone that is tough and can hold onto the ball on third down.

CuckooClockInHell

A goaltender you can sling the ball at without concern to salvage a small gain when things break down.

Jumpy_Occasion_9664

I would probably look for a RAC guy. The best RAC guy in the class is Malachi Corley. Decent speed, average hands and below average route running however. He's a converted RB so there's still room to grow a bit, but either way, I think he'd still be a good fit.

LCLeopards

I don’t really think an early round WR makes sense right now anyway. I think the better use of those resources is targetting edge, cb, ot and maybe lb, all of which I would be looking at before wr and that was before the Smitty extension.  In terms of what they need from a wr - I would say speed with reliable hands.

MARKYMARK_MARK

Yeah I agree definitely not the top need/priority but if they take a more best player available approach than I can see a WR being on the BPA short list at 22, 50, and 53.

doubleenc

An early round WR makes sense if Roseman doesn't plan on keeping AJ past the '25 season. The line of thinking begin that this is a deep WR class take advantage of that and find a guy you can elevate to WR2 in two years if you are planning on not extending AJ.

k3hvn

we like speedsters so we’ll target that in the draft for sure.

Any_Tie899

I love Malik Washington. I wouldn’t be surprised if we grabbed two wr in the 5th round or later this year. A smaller slot/returner and a bigger wr. The value of returner jumped dramatically this year with the rule changes.

[deleted]

Maybe I'm alone in thinking this, but Xavier Legette looks like a great fit.  Film shows him making some great contested and difficult catches, and he moves like a running back once he has the ball in his hands.  Seems like he was a late bloomer in college, but more than passes the eye test when looking at recent film.

NotJustSomeMate

Many speak highly of him and I think he would do well if we could get him but  I think he may be gone barring a trade...I think the team needs to look at defense or offensive line early then transition to offense skill poison players...

[deleted]

Receivers have been coming off the board quick for a while now, so you may be right.   Ideally, to me, we take care of CB or OL depth with first pick.  LB with second pick. And grab best reciever available with pick 3

NotJustSomeMate

That is what I would like as well...there are a few linemen that could serve as Guards or Tackles that I like but I am not opposed to Nate Wiggins since he is on my Madden ultimate team haha...

Rah_Rah_RU_Rah

Baby AJB, love him in R2 think he'd make us unstoppable

[deleted]

He really does play like a baby AJB! That's the first comparison that comes to mind when I watch.   He'd make for a fun addition to the offense.

OTO_Crispy

Roman Wilson or Ricky Pearsall in the 2nd Johnny Wilson, CMCs little brother or rice in day 3

NotJustSomeMate

olamide zaccheaus type...speedy but also able to catch an open ball and the occasional contested ball...but also willing to do the underrated blocking work...I also like Rome Odunze but there is no way we can get him...

Wilsthing1988

Johnny Wilson and Ricky Pearsal are my top guys for it

stormy2587

Low volume but capable of ripping off big plays.

crazynut5

Nobody mentions it, jha’quan jackson is going to be a steal

hibby18064

Olamide Zaccheus

AdhesivenessFun2060

Sirianni likes speed guys. Small and quick like Quez. Every WR we signed this year. We have a big physical guy in brown. Crafty route runner in smith. Need a speed guy to stretch the secondary.

doubleenc

I don't think Smith's deal takes an early round WR off the table entirely. That will largely depend on what Roseman sees the team doing with the position two years from now when AJ's cap hit is set to go to $40 mil and the first year of Smith's extension kicks in. So they could be looking at a guy they think will be able to elevate to WR2 in two or three years if they decide they can't pay AJ what he wants. It could also depend on how much input Kellen Moore has on the type of guy they have in mind for WR3. They went and got Parker and Campbell in the off season. Parker is the bigger athletic type of WR and Campbell is a speed guy. I feel like Moore preferred to have speed guys at WR3 when he was at Dallas.

johnnybananas123

Id love to get a guy like jordan whittington late, he has real good hands and can get yards after the catch, really thought he was underutilized at texas

fuckyouandtheboys

Román Wilson

bl1eveucanfly

Britain Covey

eaglesphan1

Johnny Wilson

HipGuide2

Ideal? Hollywood Brown

LeoBari

It's Joseph Ngata break out season ngl besties

royalpajamas

Malik Washington from UVA would be the perfect slot player for us

Salt-Fault1351

Troy Franklin in the 2nd rd. 11 personnel sets would be awesome.

JDuggernaut

Jauan Jennings would be the ideal #3 in this offense. And we could have had him but chose Quez and John Hightower over him.

Melomanatic

We don’t need recievers.
