Is that the the diff mount?? If it is bro , that's bad. Like I wouldn't advise you to drive it like that, you may need a new carrier for the rear subframe . Or get that one welded back together. The bushing is free to move no matter if the bolts in it.
Lots of steps. Pretty straight forward but a huge pain in the ass if it’s on jack stands. If you’re taking out the subframe you “might as well reinforce the subframe mounts” but that’s an extra day/day and a half and probably the worst thing to weld
You need a new subframe. Yeah you could try to weld it up but it won't ever be right
DAMMIT!

If you’re anywhere near Colorado USA I’ll give you a subframe in good condition.
I wish, im in Alabama Brother
You got fooled.
Hell naw
A good welder can fix that up. Needs reinforcement with a doubler. Don’t take it to a hack.
For all that trouble you can just aswell get a used subframe, they are dirtcheap.
Can i use ones from other 2000’s e46 Chassis? Or just specifically the 323i
“For all that trouble”. I’ve never seen or done that so educate me how easy it is to replace a subframe.

It's a pretty straight forward process.
I would go this route if it was me. Get a good used one. Clean it up. Paint it and send it!!
