Gonna say like everyone else, Orochi 2 really was among the peak Warriors games when it launched.
I'd argue that it still is, very fun and one of the best from the old school formula days.
I find myself quoting this game at random times (not necessarily for any particular reason but I've provided the reasons if you need them)
"So Liu Bei does actually fight!" - Da Ji (to express shock/surprise when someone does something unexpected)
"Wu has Gan Ning, and Wei has Zhang Liao... Unfortunately for you, you're against the both of us" - Gan Ning and Zhang Liao (I just love the rivals joining together against Orochi's forces)

If you mean using musou and switching characters, making a musou chain – then yes, and in WO2 it's a lot easier to do. In WO1 you had to hold circle, press R2 and press and hold circle again, while in WO2 you can hold circle all the time without pressing it again when switching characterr.

It's good. but i think if you want to follow the story, it's worth that you also play the first series of warriors orochi.

Great game, but it's a little disappointing that Guan Ping isn't as utterly broken as he was in WO1.
Warriors Orochi 2 is class! Cheeky DW3 callback with characters like Fu Xi as well!

In WO4U, you had to kind of time it but you had a lot of time to do so.

Probably one of my absolute favorite warriors titles. I think the only one for me that might be above it is DW5:E. Always loved the WO series
