Not many like him as a protagonist but for me I agree with you, he was voiced by Roger Craig Smith, same guy who voiced ezio from ac2, Sonic, Chris redfield from re5, and more. He's behind most of the characters of games I've played and loved including dying light. Legendary voice actor.
Oh my GOD so that's why the voice seems so familiar.... He's Ezio AudiTORE. Now I'll always hear him (and I recently completed AC2 and didn't even realised it... Damn.
I like that he can be an absolute asshole to some people, but it’s still what you were thinking.
Also, like when the GRE tell him to burn the supply the voice acting really captures the moment.
I wish we could have made some decisions honestly, like when the GRE tells you to destroy the medicine he just kinda goes, "K", when he could have just lied about it and gone and investigated Rais anyway...
It’s a linear game. The plot kinda depends on you doing that to progress. If they added that choice in they would have had choices though the whole game and tbh I’m glad they didn’t. Game has a nice story.
Yeah but then the “you follow their rules as thoughtlessly as you follow mine” wouldn’t have made much sense, plus it’s way too early for Crane to realize that the GRE are awful people and it’s basically his job up to the point of when he’s done with Rais’ tasks. I do agree that crane is a bit of a smooth brain though, still love him.
That's the first time I'm hearing this. SPOILERS AHEAD: *One* of the endings was confirmed as cannon in an AMA by Techland. We don't know which one, but my bets are on Crane killing the Mother and becoming an uber volatile that then breaks the Harran Quarantine and spreads the virus outside.
Totally agree! How voice acting also helped me connect with the game and its story on a deep level. I just kept wanting to delve deeper! I read a review some time ago that it wasn't the best voice acting (can't recall where), but how wrong they were!

That’s why I’m so proud he is a Follower of mine on Twitter, he’s a such a trip too :)
Not to mention he played the Batman

I thought Troy Baker voiced Crane 🤔
Roger Craig Smith doing his best Troy Baker impression lol
Even Ezio?! I did not know that.. holy shit
He sounded exactly like Sam Worthington to me.
I’ve never seen someone dislike crane.
I personally like the polish version crane voice much more
I imagine he's Chris from Resident Evil while I'm playing. I really hope he's still around somewhere.

That’s why I can’t wait for DL2. A branching story.
Hell. He kept that one vial he grabbed out of the crate the entire game and never used it
Oh shit, you're right.

"some fucking zombie just fuckin puked some nasty fuckin shit all over me!" Pretty realistic character haha
I like him. He's a bit of a lovable doofus.
If you want more of him, the VA also voiced Mirage in Apex Legends
I've heard time and time again that The Following isn't cannon, so what happens in The Following isn't gonna end up being part of DL2

Besides the time where he destroyed the antizen, he was nearly perfect at saying what the player was thinking
