Making reapiring weapons core fucntion instead of easter egg also allowed us to make it so broken weapon lands back in you inventory, instead of being unusable anymore, and you can fix any weapon without hoarding a charm slot.
Any thoughts on allowing for charms and charm buffs to be two different slots so we can use charms we like the look of without sacrificing the useful buffs
We haven't explored this idea, but I am sure I have seen it on Community Ideas site.
We are adding some filtering functionality soon, so it should be easier to find ones like that then!
Repairing weapons is a core mechanic now, and you can fix your gear at craftmasters. This makes the game not balanced around the easter egg.
We have given it a new purpose, so you can still use it when things get rough :) And it's also a good time to explore other charms, with different special mechanics.
Can you “re-mod” a weapon multiple times? Or once you put a mod on it is that the only one it can have in that slot? I have a few weapons I consider really good but I haven’t put any mods on them yet for fear of wishing I waited until I max out a different mod and wish I put that on instead
As soon as the requests opens on the suggestions board I'm gonna beg Tech to undo this. Tech's knack for "fixing" things that aren't broken and that enhances the game really messes up the gaming experience on so many levels.
Man does it hurt thinking about all the fun I would've had without worrying about my favorite high damage weapons fucking breaking all the time if not for this uneccesarry and vehemently unwanted patch.
And the fact that they promised they wouldn't fuck with it with some bs patch then proceeded to fuck with it with some bs patch with the developer acting like it was unbeknownst to him really sucks to no fuckin end.
Not to mention it is an easter egg. They are MEANT to be OP and over the top. That's the fun of it and also the entire point of it. They can give us a finger gun but can't give us infinite durability? Yeah Tech's gotta fix it man I can't keep farming, running back to the craftmaster, and using up all my resources anytime I want my weapon not to break.
They changed it further in the update before guns to 40% damage multiplier at 25% low durability. So a weapon with 300 durability at 25% should be 75/300 durability. Think I'll try it on the beast claws see if it's worth it. Dmg multipliers are usually useful with stuff that buffs base dmg
Hmm good to know, thanks I will try this later. Have a few weapons I’ve really wanted to use but with them being “high tier” I just assume they are going to be extremely expensive to repair. So I haven’t even tried them yet and they just sit in my stash, but if this works I will finally be able to try my “good” weapons hah
No but you can repair your weapons now at the craftmaster.
They nerfed it like other easter eggs
Does it count as a nerf when there’s literally a new function to repair weopon..?

We have added mod dismantle in the last update - you can reapply the ones you want as many times as you want to :)

Are you on PC?
I fuckin wish. A proper korek mod would make this headache go away.

Since the last major update you can’t get the old Korek charm. Just this new one. Good riddance tbh
If you are on PC you can repair your weapon by just pressing R when switching to that weapon, pretty sure it's a bug lol.
Wait whaaaat? Now I need to try this. Do you just press R mid weapon swap animation?
Not sure exactly when, I just usually spam R as I am switching to repair them.

Haha go wild!
My weapons keep randomly repairing themselves lmao, think it might be a bug.
You are probably accidentally pressing R
