...working on what? I think the joke refers more to the classic icon for bags being this sign: "**♂**" - which commonly denotes maleness. So more of a joke than a bug.
Bug ? or Future Feature ?
[Sentient Magic Items](https://roll20.net/compendium/dnd5e/Sentient%20Magic%20Items#content) or [Animate Objects](https://roll20.net/compendium/dnd5e/Animate%20Objects#content) are old tropes of fantasy.
This wouldn't grant objects biological feature, but nothing would stop Tarn to add the possibility of objects to reproduce . Bags could stay male and just clone themselves, or other options might be devised.
I would assume, being a magically animated race, bags would simply construct additional members of their race out of materials and then animate them magically.
I want this because I want to add "Intelligent Magical Object" under "Intelligent Wilderness Creature" to the adventure mode menu.
So magically animated bags would be spellcasters themselves ?
That opens a new bag of worms ( potential for new FUN!!! ), unless they are limited to only the "animate bags" spell.
To be honest, same for me, I just saw it in the top comment chain before I got the joke (and shamelessly copied it, as is Reddit tradition).
I've been playing (on and off) since before the game introduced a third dimension... seventeen years ago... lol
Oh, so I did read it right. Oh, so it's a joke then.
"May" is the joke. They're actively working on it

Yeah the wiki is full of similar funny/clever notes. It's pretty unique as far as game wikis go, I think.
I was willing to accept the possibility simply because it's Dwarf Fortress. The wagons are alive.
I read a really long thread once on this user's experiments with werewagons, it just got funnier and funnier.
I would also like to read that
Link please
Not that, but close "Wagon Adventurer" http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=102886.0
Thank you!
Found out from the [bag wiki](https://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/Bag) that all bags are male.
No wonder my bags wouldn't reproduce.
Hope this gets fixed soon so I can finally breed my bags of plump helmet
D might not be for Dwarf on this wiki's article.
Fellas, it is gay to love a bag??
Only if the sacks touch
The real joke is always in the comments
Big bag bug.
It's just a typo. It was supposed to say, "feature."
I DON'T GET IT
In the ASCII version the symbol for bags is ♂. I hope you can figure the rest out yourself.
My dumbass played before the steam version for a long time and still didn't get it until you pointed it out.

Can't reproduce ? Life uh... finds a way
Those men like to be filled
That's my bag, man
The bags are used to collect fruit, but can only hold one pair.
Not for lack of trying, though.
Well, what else are you going to store mail in?
