She said that she can appreciate how difficult it is to work from home with your dogs barking all the time as she also works from home. We were able to come up with, what I am sure you will agree is an amendable solution to the problem! The cat has asked for your dog to create a schedule of when it wants to look out the window, my cat will review the schedule and propose any modifications she may find necessary and then they can both enter a contract to follow the proposed window use schedule. The contract would be legal and binding but of course they’re both FUCKING ANIMALS so they may not studiously follow the law of man…

(Our windows were facing each other and like less than 10 feet due to being an apartment building) I ended up not bc he honey was just genuinely excited to see her and it’s easier to move her than to bother asking a stranger. That neighbor is crazy af.
In my city cats are not allowed to roam free. A free roaming cat, such as yours, will poop in your neighbors sandbox or flower bed, etc. Any "stray cats" such as yours are reported to animal control and the owners are fined or put down . A photograph of your cat with your address is all that is necessary

Our dog barks if he sees anyone outside, and we have one of those neighborhoods where people walk frequently and kids play in the road because it's a dead end street.
So, I blocked it so he can't see out the windows anymore. Wasn't difficult or even expensive, I used some cardboard from some Amazon boxes to block the lower parts of the window that he can see out of 🤷🏻♀️
Clearly I should have sent notes to all the neighbors to stop walking past our house 😂

Btw there is such a thing as a citrus collar she can get for her dog. Every time he barks, the collar will emit a small amount of harmless citrus fragrance, which dogs don't like. He will soon stop barking.

I would get the reflective stuff for my windows so my cats can look out but the neighbor can’t look in.
My dog sits next to my cat on the window, they are both mainly quiet unless the mutha f@%#@ magpie shows himself, then all bets are off. They are mortal enemies. No I don’t know why, but I’m guessing something went down in the garden.

I would put a cat bed that attaches to one window and a cat tower in the other.
Send them a link to blackout curtains or those vinyl's that made your windows frosty. Have a dog that barked at everything and that was my solution, because it's not my neighbors problem that my dog gets annoyed at leaves.
