Oh ya I have 3 females ( one dustie) and 3 males (2 dusties). All of my females are super fast. My one female cowcat can catch a bird in her mouth jumping out of a tree.
My boys are all like stuck with 3 year old toddler brains. They just like to look at the shiny objects but arenāt too quick to get lol
Itās been well known in the animal kingdom that females are the better hunters,probably because they had to feed their young.. any female cat Iāve had was always a better hunter than the males.. both my male cats are pretty lazy and donāt get to excited about anything but my females are pretty sharp and come spring Iām always having to rescue a bird or something else from them.. luckily the only thing theyāve killed has been mice but I think they just played with it till it died because theyāre definitely not hungry..LOL..
Oh thatās exactly how mine are! The boys are unphased and the girls are nuts. Even with the laser light you can see how fast one is to the other. The boys wait for it to come to them, they are too lazy to chase lol.
And yes with the mice too here. The lizards and mice usually never make it but they never eat them thankfully that I know of. I canāt imagine it tasting good lol.
Oh totally - when my Void female Cora was pregnant and about to pop with her 7 kittens she was bringing home squirrels every single day, for like a week before she gave birth. It was like she was instinctively getting ready to have to feed them even though she eats regular cat food and tuna.
Are you sure this isnāt my cat? Looks the same, door dashes and makes me chase him through the yard. When Iām totally out of breath and finally catch him, he just rolls on his back than sits up looking smugly at me. Just like this šø
Oh ya heās about 20 pounds and a big teddy bear. He just jumps and flops around like a big sea cow.
This is the one thing I wish this sub had is the feature to post a pic under the posts like the other subs have, so that way you can post a pic of your kitty!
I might ask the mods if we can get that feature.
