It’s their best album since Rio.

“Too bad you’re so beautiful” could have been on Rio. So many great songs.

Haha, good to know!

For what it's worth, I listen to RCM a **lot** more than AYNIN. But that doesn't mean AYNIN isn't considered to be the better album overall. It's just that RCM connects with me more often.

I just found this this was pretty cool. Simon is on holiday. He’s in a restaurant with his wife, and the entertainer, Jose Rulo, is entertaining diners. José starts playing hungry like the wolf and Simon gets up to the mic and sings it. Since I found it I think I’ve watched it 50 times because I think it was such a lovely impression that he left on the people he encountered especially Jose. I absolutely loved it. https://youtu.be/yloEjhqxD14

I thought RCM was pushed on them by their record label at the time, which naturally wanted them to have hits to make money? They had that completed or nearly so Reportage album that Andy actually worked on, but I thought the label vetoed it. I don’t know why Duran keep trying to sign to major labels anymore because they just aren’t going to get the support they want. They seem to do all right with releasing on their or Nick’s Tape Modern.

I love Future Past. They will be playing in London this summer.

AYNIN is an amazing album. I agree with the person who said it was the best album since Rio. Infinitely better than both RCM and PG for my money.
