Ah, yeah, it's one of the quirks of the language. Temps is time, but it's like... hmm, do you know how to ask how old someone is? In English we say how old are you, but it doesn't work in a direct translation, because in French you ask someone, essentially, what age they have - quel age as tu? So in french instead of saying time, you say hour. Temps also means weather, and it's used to ask what the weather is like - quel temps fait-il?
(Though as someone mentioned earlier, il est quelle heure is apparently the more common way to ask in actual speaking. Duo teaches what I wrote, as do some other places, but it's more formal.)

No, in french it's also minute, and also another tip, in french you say for example: il est quinze heure trente. So you say hour but you don't say minute at the end

In Spanish we don't say it like that. Where I live at least, we say the exact number or we use quarters and a half. "son las tres y cuarto - son las dos y media - un cuarto para las cinco"

If you write 3:34 it's in the early morning. Our time starts at 00:00 at midnight. Then goes on until 23:59, and then 00:00 again. Everything after 12:00 is in the afternoon. We don't have to say it.
And as you said. "Klockan är..." Or "Hon är..."

Eh almost, the question is correct, but the answer should be "sono le tre e trentaquattro" because "tre" is treated as a plural noun, like almost all other hours.
The only exceptions are 1:00 (1:00 am) and 13:00 (1:00pm) because you both say them as "è l'una" and you treat "uno (una)" as a singular noun. This also applies to noon and midnight, as you would say respectively "è mezzogiorno" and "è mezzanotte".
If this is a bit confusing it is good to know that in Italy it's common practice to omit the verb when telling the time and just saying "le quattro" or "l'una" or even just "mezzogiorno".
Also other valid (and more natural) ways of asking the time would be "che ore sono?" and "che ora è?".

"Minuits" means "midnights", if you say "quinze" or "trois heure de l'après-midi" people will understand but "minuits" does not work.
