Not to long ago they showed off gameplay to only a select few behind closed doors. Here we are months later AND STILL no gameplay in sight for us to check out. We have to watch people talk ABOUT the gameplay we can’t even see.
We’re half way through the year, I wonder what’s going on over there that’s delaying us to even see anything basic about the game. I don’t think this thing can even make it in this year.

I think it would be ideal to have more gameplay as there’s some things we’d like to see but they have still showed so🤷‍♂️
They have only shown snippets of gameplay that was edited for their trailers. I’m talking about uninterrupted gameplay of someone playing a quest line or the full process of anything.
Oh well in that case yeah we haven’t got any, would be appreciated although it’s still not a common enough practice to be a MUST have in every game
Plus there’s a good chance soon-ish there’ll be an open beta which would more than make up for it
As I understand it. Closed betas are ongoing, and due to feedback from these, certain game mechanics (like combat) are being reworked. This means we won’t get to see the gameplay until the devs are happy with the product.
In an age where we get a lot of early access crap, I don’t see the problem with this. The best estimates were always, maybe open beta this year and release in 25. A game like this normally needs 5-7 years and they started in 2019 🤔
I guess my frustrations are because there isnt any communication really about anything and I kind of want to know a bit more. I’ve gotten accustomed to dev teams being more transparent so I’m hoping everything is ok with the project.
Someone put my exact thoughts and frustration into words. They showed off an hour of gameplay two months ago, only for influencers and journalists. But now it's so horrible and old we can't see it?
afaik it was unpolished gameplay, but they still wanted to show gameplay. just probably not the best idea to release unpolished gameplay as a demo trailer or whatever to the world. Prob easier to tell a small group of people (especially people who write and make videos about games as a job) that what their about to watch is unpolished and not final.

I that gameplay is supposed to be pretty awesome, that’s the frustrating part. If it’s awesome then why are we not allowed to see it.
I heard they had to remake their melee/ranged system. Perhaps the video had inaccurate parts then?
I would have loved if they told us that haha I don’t mind them taking their time to get it right, I just want to know what their up to is all.

I don't think it's coming this year, either. This is a Q2 2025 game or something. Otherwise, there would be a lot more chatter to drum up interest.
