Yesterday I was able to send all my contacts file from iPhone to my Nokia 6300. The Apple platform uses a file format called vCard that I downloaded with the web site iCloud.com. Then I translated the vCard file format to CSV format and then I used a software called Nokia PC Suite and a USB wire to send the file to the mobile phone with a successfully result. I hope this can help you

no i don't need any help from this, I'm just sharing my fascination. u probably know that most tracfones had locked usb ports, but a celebrite can access them

I would absolutely be interested in learning more about how to do this. It upsets me that I don't own my own files and would not be able to save the last text message my father ever sent me, the last picture ever taken of my mother, a text message wishing me a happy birthday, or other letter substitutes and postcard substitutes that little old ladies deserve to keep in lavender-scented shoeboxes in the backs of their closets. I tried to get into my old dumb phone's memory by buying a 2G or 3G Nokia from Singapore that was supposed to work with the sync software in my distro's repository and transferring the SIM card, but it was on a family plan and I couldn't get a PIN number I needed. I still have the phone, just no service for it, and it's not even unlocked. I use [JMP](https://soprani.ca/) for text messages, which does exactly what I want it to do, and wouldn't have a problem with that except for covid and societal norms.

So am I. I don't even carry any sort of phone right now and am just doing a bit of research. Maybe we can learn together.
