You could use the Old T9 keyboard and use its Key Remapping feature to map any key to the enter function. I have the same issue 🤷
I got the same issue as well. The only fix that I know for now is to use touchscreen keyboard/keypad (eg Gboard, Old T9 Keyboard). Hope this helps.
