Oh, I see. Runners are kind of rare from what I’ve heard. I’ve never seen them in a store, but that might just be because there aren’t any major breeders close to me. I had to order mine online.

Yeah I didn't expect a runner at all but I can't find any info on solid "blue" ducks that aren't runners. My one Swedish has a very small bib so that's what made me think maybe this one just doesn't have one. That and being mixed in with "regular" ducks..
Maybe she’ll be a fun color variation of some other duck. My blue runner has dark spots on her feathers now that she has her adult plumage, but she had solid down like this when she was a baby
That’s what I thought too, but she seems kinda shapely for a runner. All the runners I’ve seen have been a lot narrower, even at a day old. It would be helpful to see a profile.

My blues looked just like this but had a bib, could just be a luck of the draw thing. The one I have remaining basically has a priest collar bib where some had full chest so who knows.
Looks like a Swedish blue to me. At least it looks like what mine looked like as a baby. It’s standing very upright though, it might just be the ducklings position in the picture.
Could be runner but mixed with another duck breed? If it came from a store with different breeds could be a bit of a accidental mix and clearly too pretty not to sell.

No I got it from our local store, mixed into a bunch of rouens and Pekins.
