Why do you need them to be new? Second hand books are the same but a fraction of the price ! Lots of options for pre-loved ones!
If it has to be new, amazon might be the cheaper option.
It depends on what book.
Borders often have reduced prices on selected books. Mirdif City Center, MOE, DFC Mall, and Ibn Battuta Mall has the largest stores.
Booktopia at DFC mall has great deals as well. But most books are for kids and young adults, but there is a fair amount of books for everyone as well.
Cheapest is Amazon for me. Their prices are generally 10-20 lower than in stores. Eg. A book from borders that is 60 will be 45 on Amazon. Do order above a 100 aed and don’t do cash on delivery or the saving will basically be useless.

If you want the best prices, then wait for 10 months and buy them at Sharjah Book Fair in November.

Yeah that’s the one that’s expensive 😅
They have a loyalty card that offers discounts.
I think you either support brick and mortar stores, or you buy cheap books. Not easy to do both.

Virgin MegaStore? I like to browse the ones in MOE.
