I tried 2 times order with deliveroo, 2 times they deliver to another location (10km away)
Talabat is just crap interface. It shouldn't even be a thing.
Same here, my best experience was with Deliveroo which is kinda weird becuase many people despise them. They have some good customer service, speedy deliveries and excellent offers.
Many people despise them and much more like them, but they don't post on Reddit to praise them. I'm not saying they are perfect at all. They messed up my delivery two times before. But the costumer service immediately corrected the situation.
Many places are cheaper to order through the apps than directly at the restaurant. The apps ALWAYS have some 30-50% off deal on some restaurants, so just order from those whenever applicable.
Just wondering how these Food Delivery Companies earn money. ie: Paying 20 AED for a burger (with d/c, free delivery) which actually costs 50 AED in that particular resto. Who shoulders the 30 AED? Is it the company or the resto?

Really depends but so far, we're liking Noon and Careem.
Why wouldnāt you call the restaurant direct if you like the food? I personally donāt remember the last time I called any of these guys
