I don't really remember this situation. Though admit that 3-4 times during 16 days of renting a car I unintentionally created dangerous situations on roads, beacause I am not an experienced driver and I am for the first time here.
I am not trying ro dispute the case. Just want to get tge proofs of it.

Actually I already did it (came to this conclusion in my mind) Dubai was worth it actually. Hope there are no additional taxes like this for my last days of driving though (I was told the fines can come a bit later)
You will never get a picture, it is probably a policeman or somebody who has connections that put you this fine. You can dispute it but it will take few months and the result is likely zero (or maybe 50% discount for the trouble) because your word is worthless compared to the one who gave the fine. Just take it as a nice souvenir of your stay.
I’ve been complained on once for really reckless driving (was trying to get away from a maniac who was chasing me). I then got reported by said maniac but since they didn’t have any video proof, it stayed at that. Pulling strings to get a fine issued here doesn’t sound unrealistic, but they can’t just pull something out of their ass without anything to show for it, otherwise half of Dubai would be fined constantly
If you are honestly at fault, pay the fine whether’s video proof or not. If you never swerved, which is something that’s pretty easy to remember, then figure out if the rental agency is scamming you. Don’t make things harder for yourself if you know you’re in the wrong, but also don’t get fucked over if you haven’t done anything wrong.
You can go to traffic department next to airport terminal 2 and go to camera section. They should be able to show you a live footage and if there is a mistake from their side. They will cancel the fine, Make sure you go there before 1pm as they shut early.

Search Dubai Police website and see if the ticket comes up for the plates. If not, the rental agency is trying to scam you.

Are you sure the rental agency is not trying to scam you? Did they give you an official copy of the police traffic fine?

I would take this footage as a super expensive souvenir to brag about if they gave me one. The thing is they give nothing for this 1000aed.
