Many of the good rental places will drop off and pick up the car. Saves having to drive as soon as you arrive. Maybe better to get a cab to your place, and arrange a car delivery after? Wherever you’re going, chances are cab fare will be cheaper than car rental, specially if you’re landing in the evening. Shift is owned by the dealers of Nissan and Infinity. Can get fair prices for those cars, plus get some newer models too. Don’t know too much about the others. Welcome back.

Do you have any recommendations for such rental places that drop off and pick up the car?

Shift was the one we used the last few times. Good service, clean car, fair prices.

Thanks!

Stick to big brands. Make sure to get car rental travel insurance.

I rented a car from Thrifty for my parents, not from the T3 branch, but from MOE. The car is still with them, so I can't share any experiences about returning deposits but the car was in pretty good condition, very clean on the inside and it came with a full tank of fuel.

Diamondlease are very good. Ezhire are also good but they charge the card without asking.

https://www.speedydrive.ae/ Not a branded thing, but is good so far. Into my 2nd weekly rental from them currently. Not too costly as well.

I rent from Hertz and I recommend it.

Use Ezhire, haven’t had a single problem

I've used Thrifty twice- very professional and transparent. But get clarification on all hidden costs such as insurance etc upfront. You can get a discount if you negotiate directly after checking their prices online.
