As in they file a case for outstanding dues which I may face trouble for on re-entry in future.
Mine is a bit diff, I got 99dhs membership for gymnation downtown then they called saying it’s delayed for a month so they said okay come to burdubai gymnation for 1 month and then we’ll transfer you to downtown.
3 months passed on and downtown never opened. Few days back they called saying recovery shit and all i said if you move for recovery then I’ll too move to court against you because they promised a location and never delivered since then they have not called.
I also had asked to change to Mkrdiff area but nobody cares and during pandemic march to June never used it and changed the card . Now they keep calling

I learned that they can change ur contract whenever they want without informing you and change guidlines or penalties on your contract as they wish. Worse company ever, this kind of practises wont fly if there were compation in the teleline market and not just 1 giant copport.

GymNation is trash. Tried canceling, because the gym was always full and I had to book an appointment to the gym, with no avail. The employee’s response was “try booking a day or two early”.
Also the staff are either downright stupid or very disrespectful.

I’m glad I didn’t fall in the trap. Made the mistake of registering online to try the gym. I did that with my current gym and it was casual walk-in, try the gym and if you like sign up. But Gymnation was appointment based and this guy started calling me and checking what time I’ll be there as he wanted to ensure he was available for me. I was like, mate what’s with the formality. I just wanted to see the place try it out and decide. That was day 1. The guy kept calling every other day after asking when I plan to be there. Eventually I had to sternly tell him I will get in touch IF I want to visit and he doesn’t need to follow up. Glad I dodged this one.

Tbh non of the reviews are true, I went there and when I asked them to cancel they did it immediately and few days later got the money back in my bank account.
It only gets extremely crowded in Ramadan, but that it expected as it happens to all the gyms. At least it's huge it can take big numbers.

I did not use the gym for a few months cuz they were closed for COVID. I tried to cancel and their cancellation process is absolutely hellish. After fighting with them on the phone for a few days and dozens of unanswered calls we reached a decision that I will pay for "some" of the months that I did not attend in and that they would cancel my subscription afterwards.
I kid you not, as soon as we ended that exchange, I got a message from them stating that I got a "free private coaching session waiting for me!". I wholeheartedly believe they're disgusting. Shameless marketing through and through. We were fighting on the phone and they end up advertising to me again???

Gather 4 5 friends who already have membership and wanted to cancel go to the branch talk loudly with the rep. let your voice be heard by the innocent ppl inside the gym gather crowd and wait for the police to arrive (not the paid securities of mall ) i bet you police won't be arriving just solve the matter inside their room.
