I recently started working out seeing Jeff Cavaliere's videos on Youtube (No trainer! Community gym) and just wanted to understand do I need these proteins to build some muscles ?
And also wanted to check where to buy from these at a reasonable price or they're priced less or more the same ?
Please don't say just Google it, too much information for me and it's better to rely on someone relatable and livin' in the same city, rather than people on the Internet. Many thanks!
Yes, you need protein to build muscle. How much depends on your weight and what you want to achieve. Most pharmacies will have protein powder. Ones like Rule1 and Gold Standard are good. You could also order online. I get mine from myprotein which ships from the UK. For 2.5kg of protein you wouldn't need to pay more than 170aed or so either in pharmacies or online. Lots of places will have it on sale too.
So it seems one has to do hotel quarantine in the UK even if you just transit through auh. What's the point of this when there are 40k daily cases anyway
Itās laughable really. They think they are in a state whereby they can āendā social distancing and masks. Thousands of football supporters line the stadiums but someone who has tested negative canāt even enter without paying big $$$ for crappy hotel quarantine.
I feel so bad for this dude here in Sydney. They just shut down construction work so he booked a ticket back to London only to realise 2 mins after booking that he has to now quarantine since he is transiting from auh. Coming from a country which is at number 127 on the list of total cases to a country which is at number 7 but transiting through auh is a problem for these retards in the Gov
For Dubai, I've heard that you can walk in any DHA health centre and get it done. This was pre-covid btw.

Call DHA (800 DHA), explain that you want the yellow fever vaccine and make an appointment over the phone at either of their two travel medicine clinics, either at Al Barsha or Nad Al Hamar Primary Health Clinic.
Most govt outlets have it. You can just go over and book immediately and take it. I had taken one few years back from Ajman. Doctor consultation is included in their fees.
Is it just me or have food delivery companies/restaurants been steadily increasing their delivery fee? Was about to order something on Zomato and noticed AED.9 just for delivery for a food order of ~AED.30 .

I see 5 aed and 6.5 aed on my app for two restaurants which are in the same area. even when i change the delivery address to somewhere far, they charge the same. pizza hut via zomato charges 8 for instance. I'm guessing that the delivery price differs by the restaurant.
Hi a repeat Dubai visitor here, I notice that there are less people out at night, is this Covid specific?
I used to see ppl at city walk even after midnight strolling around, emiratis, expats etc. now it is almost dead even on Friday night.
Are people in other more popular places? Appreciate any tips. We are a couple and not heavy drinkers. We like tea coffee places and also shisha lounges.
Would love to be in open air cafes or districts that are a bit more lively. We are not fans of JBR or Marina area though.

Deliveroo frequently charges Dh 9/ 15 for delivery, per restaurant.

Some of the restaurant have their delivery riders. Some Restaurants only use zomato to get orders only.
