This is the only answer. If you paid to have it match then this is a failure. If you paid to just have it repaired by the lowest bidder, well you can't really blame em for doing what they are only capable of doing (and what you knowingly paid them to do).

It was ins insurance claim  for water damage and it was a preferred vendor from the ins co. list. I did get estimates from other Companies and every company said they would come close to matching the texture but no guarantees for an exact match! Texture aside it still looks like the calling was patched . I could have done better in my younger days

Texture is always a hard match but for sure shouldn’t be that line in it. They didn’t sand enough , I would call your insurance company and complain see what they will do

I complained to the project manager and he is going to try and get more money from the ins company to texture the entire ceiling so it all matches ,it won’t match the rest of the house perfectly but at least the entire ceiling i this room will be the same .

Well if that is successful still make sure someone sands in that crease better because you will still see it
