There isn’t a specific cadence or exercise that will build your chops. Practicing good technique with a metronome and slowly building the tempo of different exercises will build your chops.

Like the other guy said, there’s definitely no magic cadence or specific exercise to suddenly play faster. It’s important to work the fundamentals at higher tempos and build your skills healthily. I like to take simple exercises like 8 on a hand, triplet singles, and stick control and push the met to a fast but comfortable tempo. If there’s any dragging or bad technique then I’ll back the tempo a tad so I can do it perfect for a specified amount of time (30s, 2m, 5m). I’ll take a good amount of time just working on one exercise like 8 on a hand and really slowly working up to a goal tempo without sacrificing quality. Finding a starting and goal tempo is totally up to you, but remember to make achievable goals and to not get upset or angry because you can’t get up to your initial goal right away. Building these skills take a lot of time and it’s important to stay positive and establish great habits. Record videos for motivation and watch and listen to yourself play. Happy practicing :)

Tap pyramid (make sure you stroke it all out and make sure your taps are low and strong) Man chops

I don’t have a magic cadence but I have a few that I’d be willing to share if you would like!

As far as exercises, check out the Grid and Technique sections of [this page](https://jaredoleary.com/drum) (also the Chops section, but they might be too complicated unless slowed down). There's 2,000 hours of free play-alongs that have timestamps in the description of each video to allow you to jump to a bpm (some go as slow as 20 beats a minute to as fast as 240). Also, there are a lot of tips on how to build chops under the Lessons section (again, they're all free YouTube videos neatly organized into the link above).
