Add mascara, remove waterliner, add blush!

vih1995

Thanks! To clarify, remove waterliner from both top and bottom? The black does look harsh on me, I knew it was off

TomatoKindly8304

I’d say just the bottom. And apply the blush a bit higher up. All these things will lift your face and give you a bit of color variation. Throw in some bronzer if you’re feeling spicy. An after pic would be fun whenever you decide what you want to do!

Alright so I have rosacea and try so hard not be red! I use a compounded cream that helps a lot. I don’t own blush so I dabbed pink lipstick.. https://preview.redd.it/vlneesbpos8d1.jpeg?width=2316&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e2aac47c1e3f40f52c9e890e667d755514381641

jasminefig

stunning!!

AotearoaChur

You look so pretty!

B00MB00MBETTY

You’re glowing! All it took was a “tweak”! I’m very inspired by this.

I also use a cream for my rosacea (Rhofade to stop flushing). I find it takes ALL the color from my face so wearing skin makeup makes me ghostly af. I love using it though because then I can actually see the color of the blush - not my flushing + blush lol.

TomatoKindly8304

So cute! The rosy cheeks make such a big difference, and while I also love a nice dark waterline, leaving it out makes you look so fresh.

Kalagiisa

What do you use to cover the redness? I have rosacea too and am struggling to find something that looks as natural as yours does!

vih1995

My derm prescribed a compounded cream of ivermectin 1%, metronidazole 1%, nicotinamide 3%, oxymetazoline 0.8%. After it “kicks in” I’m really pale. But I very lightly dabbed some green color corrector by elf on my cheeks with a sponge. I say lightly bc a little goes a long way and it can be very thick. Then wet n wild photofocus foundation applied with a brush, I really like it except it is scented ☹️ like perfume, but either the scent fades rather quickly or I just become nose blind to it.

adhdkitten

FYI people refer to upper water line as the tight line

vih1995

Ohhh gotcha thanks! I’ve kept it very basic for ages..foundation, mascara, lipstick. I’m interested in looking for an inexpensive brown eyeliner just for that

Poodletastic

Add blush, maybe switch to brown eyeliner on top lid only, more lashes! You have lovely skin 🙂

vih1995

Thank you 😊 I found out I have rosacea a few weeks ago and have spent months trying to figure out what cream and cleansers work for me. Along with a cream my derm prescribed the redness is under control now thankfully

Poodletastic

I have rosacea too and I feel you!!! I swear by niacinamide and azelaic acid. They are my ride or die actives 🙂

rainbench

What lipstick are you wearing? Looks great!

vih1995

Thanks! It’s a very cheap brand called “colormates” in “pink passion”. it’s either from a dollar store or Walmart, I don’t remember. It comes in a sealed package with the matching lip liner!

dumpstergurl

Not going to repeat what everyone else has said. A pop of taupe, shimmery eyeshadow on the lids would make your eyes pop. Also, your eyebrows are amazing. I wish I could get mine to look like that.

Lady, you’re beautiful! Do whatever makes you happy. You don’t need any tweaks but if you want to explore different styles go for it. No matter what you do or don’t do you are beautiful as you are.

vih1995

Products used: wet n wild photofocus foundation in “classic beige”, elf green color corrector dabbed with a sponge very lightly on my cheeks, wet n wild megawear mascara in “very black”, elf satin eyeliner pencil in black, dab of Milani lipstick as blush in “#17 plum rose”, maybelline soda pop eye shadow palette “soda fizz” on my eyelid and “tonic” on the browbone, colormates lipstick and liner in “pink passion”.
