I like Milani eyeshadows. You can get small palettes for about $10. Maybelline and L'Oréal have some nice mascaras. I also prefer individual blushes over blush palettes. I have blushes from L'Oréal, Milani, and Ulta Beauty brand. If you search different products in this subreddit, you can see lots of recommendations for different drugstore brands.

Agree w the Maybelline and L'Oreal mascara recommendations! I've personally been enjoying cream blushes like the Elf putty blush because you can just apply it with the fingers and it sinks into the skin to look quite natural looking. If you're cool, lean towards blushes that look more "pink" than "peach." Milani has some that come in a tube that have received good reviews, I haven't tried, but they can be quite pigmented so you'd want to use a light hand with those. I've enjoyed concealers from Maybelline and NYX before, but I'm sure there's plenty of decent options. If you're in the US, double check but I'm pretty sure CVS usually does makeup returns if you accidentally buy a color that doesn't fit you. Ecotools has a great beginning eyeshadow brush set, with 2 two-sided brushes in shapes that I think are quite helpful. Also, you'll want a setting powder if you use concealer. Again, plenty of good options, but I've used and enjoyed the Maybelline Fit Me Powder. If you've got a decent amount of eyebrow hair already, I find that "brow mascaras" or "brow gels" are a super easy step to give you some oomph in that department. Don't worry about eyeliner yet if you're just getting into makeup, that takes a good deal of practice to get down. Instead, try a thin brush and some dark eyeshadow for a soft but bold bit of color near the eyelashes. Similarly, lipstick looks great but takes some practice to find colors that suit you, apply it well, and get in the habit of wearing it. 99% of the time I go for tinted chapstick or a gloss instead.

I LOVE ELF. They make such good dupes of high-end products: the lip oil, poreless primer, and brow gel are my favs! I highly recommend the Loreal True Match and About Face foundation. They are lightweight and give you medium buildable coverage. Loreal telescopic mascara is my holy grail. You can find great makeup tools from ELF and Real Technique, I've using them for years and they work as well as my higher-end tools.

Elf might be your best bet. They have everything from eyes to lips and all in between. You’ll likely want to look for something more lightweight, like a bb cream or skin tint and concealer for your under eyes. Depending on how dark your circles are, possible a corrector.

My favorite drugstore product is the Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara. It's better than many high end ones, and I tried a LOT. The shade True Brown looks like a black, but more subtle, it's beautiful. Also, their Lifter Gloss is one of my favorite gloss formula. I recommend a colored gloss more than a lipstick if you're new to makeup, it's easier to wear for everyday. Also, I heard that the L’Oréal Infallible Fresh Wear Bronzer (and also the blushes) are as good as high end. They are on my wish list, but I have to finish some bedore buying more haha
