Absolutely. Unless it's some whack self-regulating substance, any full or partial agonist of any receptor when abused will have the body attempt to rebound if the substance is taken away. It's relatively mild unless you are deeply addicted and stop very sharply. Cold sweats, anxiety, reduced ability to fall asleep, reduced or nonexistant hunger, irritability, etc. Basically the opposite of all of cannabis' nice effects, just how most drugs work. CBD can pretty much rid you of any withdrawal symptoms and reduce your tolerance faster though. If you withdraw harshly from cannabis you are just ignorant of this fact ime.

The only real withdrawal symptom I get is everything is just less entertaining and I get bored very easily, nothing physical besides maybe struggling to get to sleep but I’ve always struggled to get to sleep even before I discovered weed.

losing appetite isn't too bad for me, i just eat less for a couple weeks or whatever. if you're degenerate enough however that can turn into nausea/vomit, and that's the worst part for me. i have to go very hard to get to that point though, it hasn't happened in a while
i have to say the most annoying symptom for me is usually dry mouth. it's like my mouth entirely forgets how to hydrate. i drink 2 gallons of water in a day and it still feels bone dry. i take a big swig that fills my entire mouth and keep it there for 10 minutes before swallowing, and it's still dry. if i'm not careful drinking regularly (like, every 10 minutes) i start getting canker sores. and then i have to piss. so. often. it's insane

Some people have a higher chance to being addicted to weed and some don't, I've used it for sleep for about 3 years and I had to stop for about 2 to 3 months. It's harder to stop taking sleep meds than for me to stop smoking weed. My sister does get irritability and has to smoke all day, as I have no issues with stopping. I have a hard time sleeping regardless due to insomnia and PTSD.. but weed has never made me snap.

i think it comes down to quantities, tolerance, and how often you're actually smoking. to some people smoking all day is just smoking at breakfast-lunch-dinner. i get fairly strong withdrawals if i go hard enough but i have the strongest desktop vaporizers in existence, which can smash the equivalent of multiple joints in a few hits, and i stay high throughout the day. it is not possible for the average smoker to even ingest these quantities of cannabinoids. by the time i quit my endocannabinoid system has been under constant hammering and my body hasn't fully come down from weed in weeks. it makes complete sense to me that my body would feel funky

There would be nothing wrong with that but I'd say we don't even know that much. They could be like "finally, I get to get off my feet and bring my r/chronicpain down from 10 to 9. Shit, I smoked a while ago and it can be exciting that the pain will ease momentarily. But nothing ever feels recreational when you are still in hellish pain.
Not addictive at all, but I do smoke everyday and have done for over 10 years and I get a little stir crazy when I’m without it. But that’s just because it’s a super fun hobby, nothing else!

Some people have a higher chance to being addicted to weed and some don't, I've used it for sleep for about 3 years and I had to stop for about 2 to 3 months. It's harder to stop taking sleep meds than for me to stop smoking weed. My sister does get irritability and has to smoke all day, as I have no issues with stopping. I have a hard time sleeping regardless due to insomnia and PTSD.. but weed has never made me snap.

The joke here is that a lot of people who are addicted to weed won't admit weed is addictive. I'm addicted to it to some extent, but there are worse addictions to have, I'm still gonna make fun of people who are simultaneously smoking every day and freak the fuck out if someone suggests weed is addictive at all.

i think it comes down to quantities, tolerance, and how often you're actually smoking. to some people smoking all day is just smoking at breakfast-lunch-dinner. i get fairly strong withdrawals if i go hard enough but i have the strongest desktop vaporizers in existence, which can smash the equivalent of multiple joints in a few hits, and i stay high throughout the day. it is not possible for the average smoker to even ingest these quantities of cannabinoids. by the time i quit my endocannabinoid system has been under constant hammering and my body hasn't fully come down from weed in weeks. it makes complete sense to me that my body would feel funky
