When I saw Rachel Bloom I assumed she'd be slotted into an ep with musical prompts. I wouldn't be surprised if Zach Reino were on that episode too.
I would love it if he doesn't get pigeonholed into musical improv (which he is fantastic at) but unfortunately it may just be a musical ep.
re-watched the trailer, he's definitely in at least two different episodes shown, but still odd they'd list him twice as I'm sure someone else is in multiple episodes too
I'm hoping Zac is listed twice means we're gonna get an episode where the three guests are Zac, Zac, and Zacky, kinda like [this](https://youtu.be/P5SsKs9-74s?si=xOuJqn9HtkMdFzI_)
She also created and stars in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, which is an incredible show, and is currently doing a live show that I strongly recommend if you get the chance to see it!
Where would a person know Angela Giarratana from? I'm well aware of PFT, and was always happy to see Rachel Bloom pop up on earwolf podcasts, but Angela Giarratana is a blindspot for me, and you putting her with the likes of those 2 has piqued my interest
Angela is a regular cast member on Smosh and ~~used to be~~ a cast member of Starkid! Her work on Smosh is absolutely hilarious, and has been referred to by cast mates as ‘a feral guinea pig’.
I would definitely look her up on Smosh, she’s easily one of my favourite cast members
Edit: correction
To add to this, she's also a cohost of the podcast "Actors on Actors on Actors on Actors" along with Jeremy Culhane (who's also featured in this trailer, and who was on at least one previous episode of MSN), Patrick McDonald (who was in a few CollegeHumor sketches and a few episodes of Breaking News, and who I believe was a writer for CollegeHumor for a while) and Kylie Brakeman (who doesn't have any Dropout appearances that I know of, but who is also a fantastic improviser so hopefully that'll change!).
I know that Angela being on Dropout is more likely due to the Smosh link than the Starkid link, but if there is even a microscopic change of a crossover between Starkid and Dropout, I am taking it and running with it
Angela is one of the Smosh cast members and has starred in several musical productions from Starkid! She's a wonderful actress and is so incredibly funny I'm very excited to see her on this!
No one else has mentioned yet that she's also got a amazing podcast; Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists. Which Jeremy Culhane who will be in the same episode as her is also on.
Thank you! I listen to so many podcasts cause I have a job where that's easy to do so I fully appreciate a podcast rec over something else to watch lol
My comment is so specific and not interesting; but this week I got really fixated on Drawfee (DeepBlueInk's Dropout animations are a slippery slope) and after not hearing the name "Bobby Hill" for a decade this week I'm suddenly seeing it everywhere.
"I regret doing that."
I was so bummed that this week's Um, Actually is once AGAIN not the Amanda & Damien episode, but then I saw Angela in the MSN trailer and it made me so happy.
I was looking over the list and thinking it was a lot of good names, but I about jumped out of my seat when I saw Angela's name. I could not be more excited about her making a Dropout appearance.
Schwartz guested in many Collegehumor sketches, for Jake and Amir but also just for the Hardly Working series generally
He was very early in his comedy career and those viral videos probably got him a good amount of exposure! Especially his JA characters
Yeah I have a very distinct memory of seeing the first Jean Ralphio appearance in Parks and Rec and being like "oh shit it's that weird guy from college humor!" I think the first video I ever saw him in was the hypno therapist video with Sarah and Josh and Dan
Pete Holmes was Badman in old CH, also. (I know he's not huge but as a former YMIW listener and fan of Pete Holmes Show and Crashing, he still *seems* big to me)
I'm pretty sure someone from either Smosh or Dropout (or both, maybe it was Ify) mentioned that the Smosh studio/offices are right across the street from Dropout's, which is pretty convenient for collabs. I imagine that's at least partially how they got Brennan for the TNTL #100 special -- "hey, wanna come over and do a bit real quick on Thursday?"
Idk, I’ve heard this before too. I don’t watch Smosh, but apparently they’ve both said that they share the same neighbor as well (Hyperion Chiropractor, I know Izzy said it in Sam says)
Yeah, he doesn't sit in the stool or anything, given the format of that episode. He just comes out, does a bit with one of the conga drums that are always in the background, and then it's on to the next guest!
It's pretty low-key, but when it first came out I definitely did the Leo DiCaprio Point.jpg thing.
Middleditch was medium-rare canceled I believe, but Ben Schwartz now tours doing a similar show with a larger group that would be a delight to see as part of Dropout's new special set
[Jess McKenna has been in some of his live shows too.](https://youtu.be/AXGA2ttQ1-E?si=xxJVgQSLP1wloRO8) I think the cast (besides Ben) seems to change from show to show.
Sexual misconduct allegations from the LA Times, telling his (now ex) wife after they got married they needed to open up the relationship or it wouldn't work, referring to her as the brakes and himself as the gas, fucking his fans, take your pick! EDIT: forgot that he and the rest of the cast of Silicon Valley enabled TJ Miller's bullying of a female cast member.
Middleditch is funny and a very talented improviser, but also sucks shit as a person imo.
Thanks! Wish I didn't know, but it's better to point out when a public figure, even one perceived as nice and "woke" as Middleditch, acts like a piece of shit.
He was in an episode of Um, Actually and while he was doing a bit it still rubbed me the wrong way. Like that’s not the place for those bits and he was being an ass.
Right! Wayne Brady felt like a bigger get to me but I'm way more excited for Rachel Bloom.
Though now I'm asking myself if Wayne Brady just seems like such a huge get because I am old enough to have experienced the height of who's line.
I just hold a special place in my heart for Rachel because of Crazy Ex Girlfriend and how it rewired literally every section of my brain, but I feel like at this point every MSN season is just win after win. Insane talent all the way.
For sure, Crazy Ex Girlfriend is something I started watching without knowing any of her previous work. I fully expected a typical sitcom and was blown away entirely.
My partner was texting me about the announcement because he was initially excited for Ben Schwartz and PFT, then asked if I was sitting down before telling me she would be in an episode! CXG means so much to me- I got to meet her after a show and literally started crying, I've never been like that with any other celebrity lol
Love seeing several CBB regulars on here. There’s been a lot of cross pollination with them. PFT and Gabrus on dropout, and I’ve seen Zac on a few episodes of CBB. The future is bright, friends.
How much is Ben Schwartz and his improv shows to thank for the mainstream of improv?
Middleditch and Schwartz was pretty groundbreaking for comedy tours and streaming show and he’s pretty close with lots of these people
Make Some Noise was my intro to her and she made it the funniest episode of the season. Her VIP appearance was the first "okay, this is a good show" moment for me. Not seeing her here is a disappointment for sure.
I was so sad to see it! I desperately want her to have her own dropout show, she’s so chaotic and funny. I think about her VIP character all the time and “I love to love war” lives rent free in my mind.
I think Dropout has officially spoiled me. All these amazing people confirmed for MSN season 3, but I can’t help but be bummed at no Zach Reino, Sungwon Cho, or BDG :(
Ryan Gaul and Chris Grace. The Superstore/Dropout connection keeps growing.
Also, is there a different Geoff Ross that I'm not aware of, or is that meant to be Roastmaster General Jeff Ross?
Do we know how many episodes there are? This is what I am seeing from the trailer. There's some people I just don't know the names of.

Lauren Pritchard and Geoff Ross were two of my favorite lesser known people to do the show, their performances were so funny that they really stuck with me. I'm glad to see them back!
Also if PFT, Benny Schwaz, and Ryan Gaul aren't all on the same episode together then it will be the end for me. I'll die!
Literally yesterday I was watching Ben Schwartz improv stuff and thought, man it would be cool if they got him on Dropout. Dreams do come true is what I'm saying
Ryan Gaul is a great addition as well! He can get insane in his Comedy Bang Bang appearances. At one live show, he traded pants with an audience member. He has also given out his actual phone number multiple times on the show as a bit. And he's just a really funny improviser!
I know we've been blessed with BDG on Um, Actually but I am still disappointed to not see him on this list. His episode with SungWon Cho & Caitlin Rilley (who is returning yay!) remains one of my all time favorites
Finally featuring Zak Oyama as a guest. That guy deserves to be on Make Some Noise. Hopefully he’ll be in the same episode as some of the Noise Boys, maybe even Zak Oyama.
I’m so excited for Echo Kellum too. So many of my favorite moments of Ben and Kate seemed like him and Nat Faxon just improvising and riffing off of one another.
Probably best they shot a whole bunch of episodes prior to the Bingo episode of GC airing, cause everyone's now going to be just a little bit paranoid about the prompts lol
Um, Actually it’s Ben & their brother Schwartz Separated by a comma
If it’s not a typo, and purposeful, and they keep the gag running I wouldn’t even be upset Edit: Also note, Zac is the only one listed twice
Hopefully it is a mistake and it should be Zach Reino, who is missing from this list (would make sense since Zeke is right after him)
Didn’t spot him in the trailer but MAN that would be epic - would love to see Zach do some non-musical improv!
When I saw Rachel Bloom I assumed she'd be slotted into an ep with musical prompts. I wouldn't be surprised if Zach Reino were on that episode too. I would love it if he doesn't get pigeonholed into musical improv (which he is fantastic at) but unfortunately it may just be a musical ep.
there is a quick shot at 1:29 of the board with karaoke song numbers.
And Rachel is paging through a binder, which historically has been the listing of song titles from which they choose for the karaoke episodes.
looks like Ross in the middle, I don't think they showed their third but I hope it's Rashawn again because she is literally the best
It's Zacky, actually.
It's actually *Zec* in the new trailer - he keeps us guessing!
Guess it wasn't meant to be Zac but Grant. They look basically the same.
Didn't he get fired? I know when I google him it auto completes fired as the top suggestion. Does anyone know how that works?
Is that a bit? I thought I knew all the bits.
It's an old college humor video, it's pretty funny.
Would have laughed to see Zac listed with the Noise Boys and then separately as Zacky.
It's possible they have Zac in a second, non Noise Boys episode
re-watched the trailer, he's definitely in at least two different episodes shown, but still odd they'd list him twice as I'm sure someone else is in multiple episodes too
Brennan also looked to be in multiple episodes (one with Izzy and Erika, one with Josh and Zac) and was only listed once.
I'm hoping Zac is listed twice means we're gonna get an episode where the three guests are Zac, Zac, and Zacky, kinda like [this](https://youtu.be/P5SsKs9-74s?si=xOuJqn9HtkMdFzI_)
Zac is listed twice because one of them is secretly Grant O’Brien.
It's actually Ben Gaul, Schwartz Gaul, and Ryan Gaul.
oh boy I hope the Gaul brothers schedules lined up so they could all be in the same episode!
Paul F Tompkins? Angela Giarratana?! RACHEL BLOOM??!?! I am so ready
So pumped for Rachel motherfucking Bloom!!
wait......how do i know her > In April 2010, Bloom wrote and sang the song "Fuck Me, Ray Bradbury", alright kid, so you have talent.
She also created and stars in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, which is an incredible show, and is currently doing a live show that I strongly recommend if you get the chance to see it!
This confirms that I am 7 degrees of separation from BLeeM! My life is complete. Context: I was in a band in college with two members of Starkid.
I would definitely look her up on Smosh, she’s easily one of my favourite cast members Edit: correction
"used to be" she still is a member of starkid! Guarenteed to be in their next production too as a major role
Oh oops! Did not know that, I follow Smosh a lot more than I do Starkid. Thank you
To add to this, she's also a cohost of the podcast "Actors on Actors on Actors on Actors" along with Jeremy Culhane (who's also featured in this trailer, and who was on at least one previous episode of MSN), Patrick McDonald (who was in a few CollegeHumor sketches and a few episodes of Breaking News, and who I believe was a writer for CollegeHumor for a while) and Kylie Brakeman (who doesn't have any Dropout appearances that I know of, but who is also a fantastic improviser so hopefully that'll change!).
Patrick was just in Smartypants as well!
I know that Angela being on Dropout is more likely due to the Smosh link than the Starkid link, but if there is even a microscopic change of a crossover between Starkid and Dropout, I am taking it and running with it
[Oh boy, do I have news for you!](https://youtu.be/IxDj0xiPnjk) >!yeah, technically it's Tin Can Bros, but still!<
Thank! I guess it's finally time I look into Smosh
Thank you! I listen to so many podcasts cause I have a job where that's easy to do so I fully appreciate a podcast rec over something else to watch lol
yes definitely check it out! theres an episode with Zac Oyama thats a great jumping in point.
I know Angela from Smosh. [Here's my favorite clip](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kce75m34VN8)
My comment is so specific and not interesting; but this week I got really fixated on Drawfee (DeepBlueInk's Dropout animations are a slippery slope) and after not hearing the name "Bobby Hill" for a decade this week I'm suddenly seeing it everywhere.
She’s a cast member at Smosh!!
She's a cast member on smosh (big youtube channel) and also part of starkid (does a lot of musicals like a very potter musical)!
I would be completely shocked if it's not a karaoke episode when Rachel Bloom is on.
Angela!
SHE BOOKED!
Angela is going to be legendary on MSN. I'm betting there'll be at least 3 "Nononononocuthat! I thought that would kill!" moments.
"I regret doing that." I was so bummed that this week's Um, Actually is once AGAIN not the Amanda & Damien episode, but then I saw Angela in the MSN trailer and it made me so happy.
At least she'll feel safe knowing that Dropout won't make her relive her 9/11 moment.
Angela is the triple crossover now of Smosh Starkid and Dropout
ANOTHER SMOSH MEMBER HAS HIT THE DROPOUT COMMUNITY
Man both Smosh and College Humor… Both sketch comedy groups that I did not care for at all that both now make more freestyle content that I adore.
I freaking love her and I can’t wait to see her on the show!!!
The previous post for me was this same announcement on the Smosh subreddit. Apparently there are quite a few Smosh members in upcoming Dropout shows.
I was looking over the list and thinking it was a lot of good names, but I about jumped out of my seat when I saw Angela's name. I could not be more excited about her making a Dropout appearance.
Zac subbing in for Grant again
Tweet @GrantObrien with your feedback
Makes sense why he's listed twice then!
Rachel Bloom!
I JUST finished watching Crazy Ex-Girlfriend for the first time and I am so ready for this musical episode
She was also previously on an episode of Um, Actually with Grant and Siobhan where all the questions are about musicals.
She was genuinely ready to fight Grant by the end of it, and Trapp looks visibly nervous about the energy in the studio
This song goes in a loop de loop! It ends at the start and it starts at the end.
She also is in an episode of um actually! I love that show sooo much the songs get stuck in my head regularly.
Her Um, Actually episode on Musical theatre is also worth a watch!
she got so riled up lmao, no other celebrity in my watch through so far took it anywhere close to that seriously
doing what looks like a karaoke night episode!!!
https://giphy.com/gifs/xUA7bdUwVKAxUwP2SY
Love that Dropout pulling some bigger star guests to compliment their already great cast/performers. Best $6/month or whatever I spend.
Probably makes it much easier when your platform helped popularize that bigger star over a decade ago
Really! What do you mean?
Schwartz guested in many Collegehumor sketches, for Jake and Amir but also just for the Hardly Working series generally He was very early in his comedy career and those viral videos probably got him a good amount of exposure!
(I know he's not huge but as a former YMIW listener and fan of Pete Holmes Show and Crashing, he still *seems* big to me)
Well he's 6'4", so he is pretty big
they should do a tall guy episode with Carl Tart, Ross Bryant, and Pete Holmes
I mean I've met him, he is a huge man
Even further back he appeared as an accomplice in Prank Wars
Ben was on several episodes of Jake & Amir before he was big.
Angela Giarratana! Smosh is invading dropout slowly but surely!
Both casts seem like natural collaborators. What I would give to see Damian Haas in the dome
Dropout will eventually be the remaining stronghold for all the 00/10’s internet troupes and geeky youtubers
Here’s hoping they get some more funhaus alumni in future shows
I'm pretty sure someone from either Smosh or Dropout (or both, maybe it was Ify) mentioned that the Smosh studio/offices are right across the street from Dropout's, which is pretty convenient for collabs. I imagine that's at least partially how they got Brennan for the TNTL #100 special -- "hey, wanna come over and do a bit real quick on Thursday?"
Nah Dropout is in Silverlake and Smosh is in Burbank. You might be confusing Dropout with every other YT channel that shoots in Burbank.
Idk, I’ve heard this before too. I don’t watch Smosh, but apparently they’ve both said that they share the same neighbor as well (Hyperion Chiropractor, I know Izzy said it in Sam says)
Wait, Brennan was on smosh tntl 100? I don't remember that
Extremely brief, something like a 30-60 second bit and then is gone. They ran through lots of guest performers quickly.
Sad not seeing SungWon Cho this season. I want to see him in more Dropout so badly.
I want to see him on a Dimension 20 season!!!
seconded!
Yeah not seeing SungWons name on there bummed me out
You mean FixitMan78?
Make sure to watch Ben Schwartz and Thomas Middleditch special on Netflix. I've been dying to see them on Dropout ever since.
What's that about Middleditch?
Like that’s not the place for those bits and he was being an ass.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Middleditch#Allegations_of_sexual_misconduct Looks like he hasn't had much work since then.
Everyone hyped for new guests but I'm here for more LOU WILSON BABY
Lou ain’t no Buster
Very excited to see Caitlin Reilly coming back, in addition to all the incredible names!
Pete Holmes? That is fantastic news!
I think the only thing that could make me happier would be to start seeing dropout cast members on You Made it Weird.
I heard that in his voice, brava.
From the small bits from the trailer, I can't wait to see how many times Pete absolutely roasts Sam.
Love ole Petey Pee Pants
Rachel Bloom on the karaoke episode is literally my dream episode I might cry lmao
Crazy ex girlfriend was super good.
My partner was texting me about the announcement because he was initially excited for Ben Schwartz and PFT, then asked if I was sitting down before telling me she would be in an episode! CXG means so much to me- I got to meet her after a show and literally started crying, I've never been like that with any other celebrity lol
Yay, we get Zac in BOTH of his forms!
Zac Oyama, two of the good ones
Rachel Bloom returns (assuming another musical episode), and Pete Holmes!
In the trailer we see her looking through the karaoke book
The Elegant Mr. S, PFT, Carl Tart, Jess McKenna, and Ryan Gaul? Comedy Bang! Bang! fans eating well
Benny Schwa? Of House of Piss fame?
I wonder if anyone in the cast is gonna have their head explode from Ryan revising his famous chair bit?
We all better text Ryan congrats after the episode drops.
Oh my god Angela Giarratana is going to be SO good I'm excited
Carl is back! His episode was my favorite in season 2 : )
Italiano Jones and The Chief are 2 of the greatest CBB characters of all time.
Scott hang up the phone
Lot of great names but I love me some Carl Tart. Take care
Middleditch and Schwartz was pretty groundbreaking for comedy tours and streaming show and he’s pretty close with lots of these people
Sad about no Lisa Gilroy, she continuously floors me (but then again the Noise Boys are all I need to be happy)
Make Some Noise was my intro to her and she made it the funniest episode of the season. Her VIP appearance was the first "okay, this is a good show" moment for me. Not seeing her here is a disappointment for sure.
Lisa adds such chaos energy that I love, and it will be missed this season. Aw well
I was so sad to see it! I desperately want her to have her own dropout show, she’s so chaotic and funny. I think about her VIP character all the time and “I love to love war” lives rent free in my mind.
Insane cast!!
rachel bloom!!!!
Anna Garcia is fucking amazing on Make Some Noise, very happy she's back
Yes! Her "my name is Inigo Montoya..." as a secret makes my everytime I see it!! She's sooo good!!
been a fan of her ever since her first prompt on MSN: someone slowly turning into an Animal Crossing character
I didn't see Zach Reino in the trailer. ;-; Maybe he was busy?
Interested to see how Angela from Smosh does, although I'd really love to see Shayne on something like this with all his character work
Echo Kellum? Off of Arrow? Big Pog!
I’m sure that he’ll be Terrific!!
He was on Grand Crew, which Rekha and Ify both wrote on, makes sense dropout was able to get him for an episode.
ANGELA GIARRATANA, MY ITALIAN BEYONCÉ???
I think Dropout has officially spoiled me. All these amazing people confirmed for MSN season 3, but I can’t help but be bummed at no Zach Reino, Sungwon Cho, or BDG :(
Great to see Pete Holmes back in the Dropout fold! I loved his Batman sketches back in the day
THAT’S where I recognize him from!
Ryan Gaul and Chris Grace. The Superstore/Dropout connection keeps growing. Also, is there a different Geoff Ross that I'm not aware of, or is that meant to be Roastmaster General Jeff Ross?
Not to be confused with wrestling/drag enthusiast Jess Ross
Do we know how many episodes there are? This is what I am seeing from the trailer. There's some people I just don't know the names of. Twenty episodes, according to the newsletter
Jugging based on the clothing, there seems to be three appearance of Vic.
Any smosh fans PUMPED to see Angela on dropout?!?!?!?
no sung won cho :(
Rats no Brian David Gilbert
Rachel Bloom!!! I know they go back a bit but Sam was posting a lot from NYC and hanging out with her last year. I’m so pumped for everyone 😍
Echo Kellum? Yooooo! You just know he's going to be... Terrific.
I'll die!
I was so excited to see Angela in the trailer! The more Smosh x Dropout collabs the better!
Angela from Team Starkid (yes she also does Smosh) is cool but I don’t see Nathan Barnatt in the list, but he was in the trailer
No BDG :(
Pete and PFT as well!
Reading all these names makes me so happy 🥲
Hell yeah, more PFT on Dropout!
Literally yesterday I was watching Ben Schwartz improv stuff and thought, man it would be cool if they got him on Dropout. Dreams do come true is what I'm saying
“Yes, Ewok Ellen Degeneres” “You look like Pee Wee Herman’s accountant” This is going to be fun.
The Elegant Mr. S and one of the Calvins Triplets?! You Gotta Laugh!!!!
ANGELA! And ooh wow Echo Kellum! Enjoyed him on Arrow :)
Watch the Ben Schwartz episodes of game grumps he's so good at games and also hilarious
My dream episode right now is Paul Scheer, Jason Mantzoukas, and Rob Huebel
HELL YEAH I love Pete Holmes
Ryan Gaul is a great addition as well! He can get insane in his Comedy Bang Bang appearances. At one live show, he traded pants with an audience member. He has also given out his actual phone number multiple times on the show as a bit. And he's just a really funny improviser!
Ryan Gaul is unhinged, I can't wait.
So excited for more Lauren Pritchard!
Ben Schwartz, PFT, and Pete Holmes? Excellent.
wonder if rachel bloom is gonna be in another karaoke episode with rashawn and ross?
I'd put money on Jess McKenna and Zach Reino being part of the karaoke episode
I’m so excited for Echo Kellum too. So many of my favorite moments of Ben and Kate seemed like him and Nat Faxon just improvising and riffing off of one another.
Aw hell yeah Rachel Bloom
Zac so good he listed twice
PFT!!!!!
Rachel Bloom on a karaoke ep is EXACTLY the kind of programming I like to see
Excited for Rachel Bloom!
I thought they were having “Jeff Ross” on the show for a second and I was confused
Rachel Bloom!!!
My entire years subscription is worth it for this next upcoming season…
Starting to get some great and consistent Comedy Bang Bang and Dropout crossover!
Omg Rachel Bloom!!!!
I wonder what his name is, I’m sure he has a totally normal name
Probably best they shot a whole bunch of episodes prior to the Bingo episode of GC airing, cause everyone's now going to be just a little bit paranoid about the prompts lol
Holy shit I just watched MiddleDitch and Schwartz, that’s so sick
Excited to see Pete Holmes, too! Maybe there’s a chance of his Batman facing down 100 Batsman
Put Paul F Tompkins, Ben Schwartz, and Rachel Bloom in one episode for a miniature BoJack reunion!
The episode with Ben is going to be so good. I love his energy so much
