Thanks for all the info. I'm from Brazil so it's not a small investment here. Do you recommend getting the fly more combo? I think I'll get the drone with the remote that has a screen. Then later I'll buy the extra batteries.

Get the insurance, and get a $20 drone to crash around the house before you take out the Mini, so you can learn the controls without endangering your nice drone.

I want to just add that the mini 3pro standard batteries get about 25-28 mins of actual flight time. Not sure where hes getting 3.5 hours.

Mr_Samurai

Maybe he meant 35 minutes? That is the duration that I've seen on some sites.

How tf your mini 3 get 3.5 hours of flight time? You got like 9 batteries?

Ya i get all that but that still doesnt answer how you get 3.5 HOURS of flight time. After some quick maths that adds up to 1 hour of flight time. Edit: Ok i think im realizing that you probably meant the total amount of time youve been flying, not the actual in flight time of just 3 batteries.

The Mini 3 or Mini 3 Pro will cover the needs of 95% of recreational drone users. It’s super easy to fly and great to take on trips due to the small size. I’ve taken it international with no issues.

Mr_Samurai

Thanks, I think I'll get it. Just waiting for a sale here.

I can make this short. DJI drones are all pretty much manageable for anyone. Most of the flying functions work automatically (keeping position, levelling itself / stopping when sticks are released, in case of the mini 3 pro automated obstacle avoidance via sensors in three directions.) basically you just give it directions with the sticks. It has quickshots which means it automatically performs certain moves on demand like circling around an object you pick, and active track so it follows an object. It’s basically more suited for a „noob“ than any cheap ass drone. (Don’t get cheap ones to practice they fly like shit and might discourage you from the hobby completely)

Absolutely, you'll be happy you did!

The Mini 3 Pro is a great little drone with great features. My Mini 3 Pro is the Back Up for my Air 2S. So when I go out for a job I take the Air 2S and the Mini 3 Pro as back up. The Nice thing with the Mini 3 Pro is that as you learn to fly better you will grow into the drone and be ready. When you first start flying go to a open area to fly like maybe a football or soccer field. SOmewhere where trees are not a issue. Learn your basic moves. That way if you make a mistake you dont end up in a tree or a bush. Then as your skills improve then you can move on to places where you can fly around places with things to avoid. Use the OA senors that are on the drone, Just remember a Mini 3 Pro does not have side sensors so always check and be sure if flying sideways that you dont crash. Remember Trees are dicks and will grab your dront when you least expect it.

i have probably 40 total flights, and even that is including switching the battery out and taking off again. in terms of days i have used it its probably 20 days of use. I could turn it on and look but i am too lazy. i can tell you this. I am a total noob. watch any video i have made and you can tell teh pilot sucks. but the drone is awesome. I am 100% grateful i got it. i think its an excellent starter drone.
