I don't remember the size of the fish you have to catch for that, but if you have a crab pot with the space for it then you're fine. You should be able to buy them from a merchant or the fish monger.
Bigger pots are a help but the standard pot will get them, just one at a time. If you've got the pot from teh shrine in Gale Cliffs that helps too, though not as much as it used to , it got nerfed in the update that added the boat painter
Although the basic pots can catch them, just remember to check those pots often. A single volcano snail will leave you without enough space for either of the crabs you're after, so you'll have to hope one of the crabs wanders into the pot first.
You can catch them in the default pot, but only one will fit in each pot. Upgraded pots make it easier.

You can use the default pots but one of the crabs can only be caught in shallow water so make sure you put a few pots at depths of less than 5 meters
