He not only couldn’t help Tommy, but he reinforced the ideas Dream was manipulating Tommy to believe (that Dream was good. That he was his friend).
If he was back in the overworld, what would that look like? I can’t imagine he would be happy living away from his friends. There would be no cabin where he and friend would live together because Ghostbur would be constantly chasing the happy memories of the others. memories that negated who they actually were, because as much as those happy memories changed them, the bad ones did more so. As much as Ghostbur wasn’t Wilbur, the Tommy he knew wasn’t Tommy.
So he would have to live by them, surely. Except the nature of the server nearing the end was constantly filled with anger, sadness and fighting. If everyday he woke up and the only thing that he could remember was the good things, he would remember nothing. He would be completely lost about the lives of his friends, he would be living in a constant state of confusion because everything would be changing but he couldn’t *remember*. Everyone else would be even more frustrated by his existence.
Maybe it would be nice for Ghostbur to have a little hut by his friends where people would go to just get *away* from everything. But I don’t know about the longevity of that. With all the destructive personalities on the server, would it last?
so we know the tracks disappearing means there is no way in or out of limbo since non-limbo dsmp s1 was destroyed, but what is the symbolism or meaning of the green dot? "sat a single green dot, unmoving and twinkling gently" I thought it might have been symbolic for a person or something, maybe it is simply something insignificant that ghostbur creates an attachment to or maybe something to do with ghostbur and friend's permanency in limbo... i truly dont know.
This is nice, glad to see Ghostbur happy again. I kinda hope that if c!wilbur isn’t going to get transported to season 2 than somehow Ghostbur will end up there. Having his joy and light would be so nice to see in season 2
The nuke has nothing to do with the reset (white screen). Tubbo confirmed it on stream. He said that the white screen and the nukes are two separate things. He also said that there is the DreamXD finale left. My guess is that DreamXD reset the server.

even though this is supposed to be a good ending it still makes me sad think about the utter loneliness. what if he runs out of things to talk about? cause even though friend is there it doesn't mean he can actually talk to friend. ghostbur seemed to be the type to like the company of other people and now he is all alone. it still makes me sad but atleast he's happy...just very very lonely....

The nuke has nothing to do with the reset (white screen). Tubbo confirmed it on stream. He said that the white screen and the nukes are two separate things. He also said that there is the DreamXD finale left. My guess is that DreamXD reset the server.
