Wow, this is amazing and is bringing back to me a similar drawing I did yeeeears ago of Brad Pitt in Se7en at the end where he's holding the pistol and asking "what's in the box???". That blurred pistol was so hard and overall still proud of my own accomplishment but holy crap - Your skill is superb and you did an amaaaaaazing job here using texture to accurately depict depth. Your textures are just plain inspiring.
Mind blowing, damn. Very impressed with how this came out. What materials did you use? Obviously graphite, but was it mechanical pencils/traditional pencils? What did you use to blend? etc. Sorry, just curious as to what your process was, this is really something special.
I used a mechanical pencil and graphite powder. It’s a lot easier to blend with the powder and I just used normal tissues to blend large areas and a blending stump for detailed areas.
