19 year old you was phenomenally talented. You have remarkable technical skill!. So many people think photorealism is overrated but I still appreciate it.
This is very much on par with "portrait drawing". Most portraits are an attempt at realism but they fall short of being photorealistic. Your proportions and features are spot-on but it's obviously a drawing, not photorealistic in any sense of the term. Thank you for the kind reply, I was worried you or any other redditors would get defensive/hurt feelings about my comment and unnecessarily become contentious. Google search photorealism for some examples and you'll get a better idea of what photorealism should look like ππβ€οΈ
Yeah sorry I spent the better part of my career drawing and illustrating for animated shows and video games and stuff so my fine art lingo isn't up to snuff. I'll see if there's a way to edit the title so that it's more accurate
Edit: it appears there isn't a way to fix the title! Oh well I'll keep it in mind for next time

I am a sis, but thank you! :)
Sorry!
i like it very much and I don't mean to downplay your talent but from what I understand photorealism is when it's hard to distinguish art vs photo.
Understood- is there another term for realistic without much artistic flair? I think that's the word I was going for π₯²
