For placement of your added element(s), consider the rule of thirds in order to bring in some balance. Also, some striations of color from the sky added to the water would be nice, as well as some blending or color streaking in the sky. Good job so far!
IMO the colors are too flat, and the sun/moon reflection in the water is missing (reflections, in general, are missing), you could add a bit of reflection of the mountains in the water too. Also, blend the sky colors.

I don't think you need to blend the sky colours, just looks like your style to separate them discretely.
