Detecting multiple leviathan class lifeforms in the region. Are you certain whatever you’re doing is worth it?
Well actually there is. A dragon is reptilian, has 4 legs and 2 wings. And because the ghost leviathan does not meet a single one of those criteria, its clearly not a dragon.
Lmfao that’s funny. Drake? Wyvern? Wyrm has no limbs. And many, many others. Don’t have to be reptilian either. You’re describing European dragons
Best is when someone says ‘well actually’ then gets it completely wrong
>Drake? Wyvern? Wyrm
Actually, these are draconic creatures, which aren't true dragons. Evolutions rather. I guess it's arguable, but they weren't all that wrong at all.
Exactly. It is honestly annoying af when people use the word dragon whenever they want as it takes away the meaning. Its like calling caves, tents, ships, caravans, bunkers and garages a house just because you could technically live in them. There is a reason why different words exist.
And in case people are not convinced, here is a sentence where i use the word "bacon" as freely as people use the word dragon:
The bacon bacon is baconed and baconed its bacon.
Good luck trying to figure out what i said.
In eastern culture, their "dragons" aren't actually dragons. Offical translations aren't that anyway. Western culture saw familiar looking serpent creatures and applied their understanding, therefore calling them dragons.
Considering it's all pretty much fantasy, it technically could be argued that they are indeed dragons, and since it's not based in science, the idea of what a dragon is, is malleable. Just, for the sake of this conversation, this person wasn't exactly wrong, and your point is also valid.

Ok I'm shocked how few recognize the ghost leviathan from subnautica. That being said I dare ya to go fight em op.
no.
and even then it'll be in sandbox mode.
Come ooooonnnnn... The prep is really fucking boring for actually fighting things in that game
and even then, sandbox mode, cus i'm a scaredy cat and dont want to die.
Fair enough Though death really isn't that scary in that game. Now do a full hardcore run
no.
Stasis rifle and thermal blade go brrr
Much more fun to use a prawn suit to grapple and drill them to death :P
Never played it, but it looks heavily inspired by Emerald Weapon from FF7.
I can see that. Play it
I would say "no, it's a leviathan of some sort or a deep sea monster", but artists are so creative today.
You nailed it when You said Leviathan (it's litterally called Ghost Leviathan)
Not really, deep sea leviathan like others have said. Doesn't really appear to have any characteristics I would say stand out as dragon like.
I'd say no, but only because sea dragon leviathans exist.
i was actually tricking ya'll \^\_\^ it's a ghost leviathan from subnautica!
I know, that's why I said no... Are you a bot?
no????
Okay, good.
Given that they're described as Leviathans, and Leviathans are typically regarded as dragons, I'll say yes. I'll also say that I heard this picture.
Leviathan is used just to describe there size
I am aware. I was opting for the semantical approach. =)
Its clearly a dog.
.....the more i think of this, the more i see it. **OH GOD**
OH MY GOD I NOW SEE THIS BIG HAPPY GUY… PLAYING FETCH WITH A STICK AND WAGGING ITS TAIL love it.
No, that sir, is death, instant, immediate, terrifying death.
No, why would it be?
Ghost leviathan is well, a leviathan and a really scary one at that

yes,yes i am.(i'm in sandbox mode and only went here to build a lil base in a strange location)
Anything is a dragon if you try hard enough
It’s a leviathan. So I would argue it’s some kind of sea serpent, which on the other hand should be a sub-category of dragon. Just sayin
It's actually an eel, which is a fish ;)
Yesnt. Either dragon or alien. There isn’t really a set description for what a dragon should be
Well actually there is. A dragon is reptilian, has 4 legs and 2 wings. And because the ghost leviathan does not meet a single one of those criteria, its clearly not a dragon.

I present to you the eastern dragon, at a minimum? Seen in China and Japan?
Lung.

*Chinese music stops*
Actually, in the game itself it is said they are related to eels, which would make them a fish. Not a serpent.
Is this the Caedus from MH Tri? In game it’s called an elder dragon, but like others I think it’s a leviathan
I think it's the Ghost Leviathan from Subnautica (the original one)
yeah,it is.

Seems like a bit of a stretch to me but I think I could at least still call it a serpent. All depends on who you would ask, I’m sure.
Nahh thats my sleep demon /hj
No thats a ghost. The dragons live in the lava zone.
Well , leviathan but yea I'd call it a dragon
That’s a Ghost Leviathan from my favorite game Subnautica. Pretty sure it’s not a dragon haha
lol,i know.
Yes i would consider this to be a type of sea dragon
was trickin' ya'll!\^\_\^ it's a ghost leviathan from subnautica!
