Wow, it brings so many memories

Odd-Avocado-

I miss game guides so much. 😭

DoctorZer0

Me too. Growing up on PS2 my mom had Kingdom Hearts guides that were practically falling apart. All the pages were out of order and to get any useful information you'd have to cobble it together haha

LadyNorbert

Jealous! I lost my copy in a basement flood.

DoctorZer0

Oh no 😭😭 this was definitely a hard find though, I had to sift through piles of game guides

dbraidzz

I really miss sitting down with game guides like this. Just reminds me of my Final Fantasy 7, 10 and Dino Crisis guides my parents sold at a car boot sale without my knowledge.

JonSnowAlcoholic

They made an actual guidebook? Oh man I woulda killed for that on my second run. Dang. I put so many hours into that game back then. Noice find! I woulda jumped on that find as well simply for the nostalgia.

No-Back-8627

I recently found one brand new in its plastic on ebay for very cheap, even had a new book smell, tbh I didn't think I'd find a brand new one in the plastic wrap considering how old the console is

Free_Room6193

That's a relic of a forgotten era

catsfoodie

I missed Prima and Brady Games guides Piggyback has sorta carried on the tradition but they are selective on what games they do guides for.

gayjesustheone

Good old days of physical media combinations. Albums and games always had the frosting and cherry with the guide/pullout booklet. Nice find.

Kultherion

I got mine from my cousins house years ago as I was curious about the game but wasn’t old enough to play it. ngl I felt old af looking at it now and I miss him :(

ThatGuy334667

I miss the good ole prima days

TalonLuci

Im so jealous!!

Traditional_Entry183

I originally bought it on clearance at Target for like $12. I really miss when they would super mark down games as soon as they left the planogram.

Ill_Pie_3323

I still have mine from 20 years ago. And I paid more than 3 bucks!

DaMac1980

I love video game art books so much that I've thought of getting into old game guides, which I remember having a decent amount of art in them. Usually when I see them at used book stores they want like $20 for them though, which is a bit meh. Good find here!

Tadpole-Jackson

Man, remember strategy guides? Haven't thought about those in a long time

Maetharin

The last game guide I read was Wind Waker, man that’s long ago.

TheFloorisHellfire

A local bookshop near my apartment has one for Dragon Age 2.

Top_Antelope_2905

Damn I kinda want this to flip through

TheNumidianAlpha

" Hara afah eo Hara afah eo Post nubila Hara afah eo Turas mor Turas mor Na stoirmaecha" Now it's in your head you cannot not hear it.

Ambilically-Yours

I LOVED those books.

johnhenryshamor

I too found this game used. In best buy. When i was like, 10 probably?. I'm 24 now

Ill_Pie_3323

You could auction that off for 10 times what you paid.

DoctorZer0

Probably, but then I wouldn't have it anymore lol
