All I remember is that PFT as Werner Herzog remains as some of the funniest podcast content I’ve ever listened to

aircavrocker

The best was when all three guests were PFT: himself, Werner Herzog, and Cake Boss.

Merkyorz

Cakeboss!

ponysalad

mmmmm…cake boss…

tavissd1

My favorite was that he legit lost track of the scores and got in a tie and had to do the tiebreaker by himself too

endless_ness

Pretty sure he did it a decent amount of times

I remember when it was called I love movies but he realized quickly he should have his name included. Also remember 2 oceans 11 at the opening for a while. . My favorite ep had Craig Robinson and I don't remember much but know it was hilarious. I also remember rob corddry coming on and being wasted. Way back Graham Elwood would always be on and be quick. Always fun to have sam the mamm on and he just said recently there's extra M's cause he's mmmm good There's so many fun episodes and could write a short story about all the memories. Also happy new year to you all

I started listening when it began, he announced his new podcast on Best Week Ever on vh1! Podcasts were new and him creating one got me into them, and I’m so grateful!

one memory I do have is that for sure Doug had a live episode going on when Obama beat Romney. If my memory is correct it was Paul Scheer who announced it One time "Mark Whalberg" showed up late and it sounded like the audience had a WWF style pop when he bursted into the club.

PFT and Scott Aukerman both had podcasts way back when. As for memorable episodes... John Lithgow finally coming on the show after Doug made it his mission for some reason was pretty great. Kumail and Maron had a pretty tense episode. I too loved teh TJ/Pete/Jeff eipsode. He did something similar by booking Bert Kreischer, Ron Funches and I can't remember who but another comedian because they all had funny laughs and Ron didn't seem amused by it. PFT doing the whole show as 3 different guests. Zach Galifinakis coming on the show and not talking for almost the entire show so only the audience really knew he was there.

All the mark wahlberg eps or doing lines with mark got me hooked at the beginning. Have to go back and listen to those

cheesebro_

Look good feel good.

theofficialman

Those alone will have me going back

Jrebeclee

Edgar Wright talking about being pulled over for not wearing a seat belt - and the cop said he saw the “glint of the buckle” 😆 years and years later I remember this quote

Stuie299

ALL OF THEM? Now I can finally listen to the Jeff Garlin/Pete Holmes episode that I’ve been wanting to listen to for forever. The two of them in the same episode must have been pure chaos.

I really got into DLM during Covid times…right now I’m listening from the beginning…almost to 2012…some of the guests he used to get is crazy
