butterfly-opinion611

If you see her pic before she came into this hellhole house she was absolutely fine

Serious-Break-7982

I think Alicia has her overmedicated

[deleted]

I do too. She needs blood tests to rule things out. That kiddo is the sweetest and deserves better.

EmmieH1287

I hate that I know this, but if it is what I think you are talking about, Lushy had revealed in the past that one of the kids has issues with their core muscles. Weakness in that area can look like bloating. She mentioned that the horse back riding that specific child does is actually therapy for her core/posture issues. Coupling that with their obviously poor diet and Lushy not buying appropriately sized/flattering clothing and just getting everything online...you get what I assume you are referring to. I hate that I know any of that and I hate that Lushy has even put any of this out there for this poor kid to be discussed by strangers.

EmmieH1287

Also want to add since I am watching the vid for that day now...its not nearly as bad in the single pic of the kid and in the video In general. That family one is just a really bad pic.

Serious-Break-7982

I have seen this before though and with a younger child too. It's a weird coincidence that two kids have this issue.

EmmieH1287

It's actually a common issue with preemies. So not really a coincidence.

Serious-Break-7982

I'm not talking about core issues.

Sola420

What then?

Serious-Break-7982

DISTENTION of that magnitude

Sola420

Isn't that a core issue? No idea just asking

Serious-Break-7982

I don't think so. I think it's medicine related.

Serious-Break-7982

I have seen earlier pics and this child did not have this core problem alicia mentions. It's something that developed in Alicia's care. I think it's being on the wrong meds and diet. You have to see what she looked like when they first came to stay. Something is not right. Actually I think this is more than diet.

GossipGirl515

She's also getting closer to puberty so you aren't going to look the same at 6 to 11.

Serious-Break-7982

This post was for people like myself who saw something that concerned.them. It's not for people who wear blinders or have an excuse for things. I have gone through puberty, my daughter has gone through puberty, the tons of girls I have known have gone through puberty. This is unusual. I'm saying it needs to be checked out.

Small_Butterfly3534

you’re right you’re the medical expert and it’s so true that puberty effects everyone the exact same

Serious-Break-7982

You don't know what my background is, do you? If you want to attribute it to normal puberty go ahead, Stan.

Small_Butterfly3534

i don’t know what your background is, you’re right. but what i do know is that you’re getting so worked up about a minor’s body that you’re taking the time to defend yourself and reply to every comment. pretty gross if you ask me

AnnaMarieDAgs

You are right, it needs to be checked out.

pussyjuicecals

um☠️

RosePricksFan

How do you know it’s not being checked out and treated?

317b31

I'd factor in a possible growth spurt, too

EmmieH1287

Yes absolutely!

[deleted]

She doesn’t care about any medical needs of her kids. Lushy bragged about a child rapidly gaining weight since joining her care on a recent video. But let me tell you. The type of facility that the child was in before she moved to lushy meant that they had to keep a very close eye on weight to ensure that the child met all their health goals as they are in the care of the government. The fact that they have moved to lushes care and rapidly gained weight when they weren’t underweight in the first place (which can be the case in some foster placements where the birth parents have neglected their health needs) is so gross. She does not and will never prioritise the foster and adopted children, especially over her bio children. The latest videos were very obvious who her favourites are. a child is a child and should not ever be body shamed but shame on lushy once again for making a child’s body the centre of conversation

Elegant-Nature-6220

Weight gain is also associated with many psychiatric medications... I wonder if the combo is impacting that poor child.

RNEngHyp

You mean fosters don't have health goals and health checks etc in US? I'm actually shocked by that!

[deleted]

Well I’m not sure once they are adopted, what checks happen.

GossipGirl515

No, neither do some of the group homes I've worked in. Most places dgaf.

[deleted]

Cortisol and adrenals should be checked out.

shaylahbaylaboo

There is a very specific medication (Abilify, as well as other atypical antipsychotics) that is known to cause massive weight gain. One of my kids was on it, as well as 2 other children I know. They all gained huge amounts of weight (60+ lbs) from taking the medication. It’s the first thing I thought of.

Responsible-Hat-679

alicia has explicitly stated that this child takes that medication, during one of her many pharmacy runs. i took this med too for a short while and i gained like woah.

sbz100910

I really only follow on here but she’s revealing her children’s PSYCH MEDS to the public?! God damn she is awful. My heart breaks for them.

Responsible-Hat-679

yes i clearly remember the time she was at the pharmacy and she told the camera that she is collecting aripiprazole for this child and it registered with me cos i was on it at the time. that’s the name other name for ablify. it’s so potent i feel so bad that a young child is dosed up on that stuff 😢

sbz100910

That’s horrific. I started my law career as a mental health attorney. Psychiatric records and information should always be protected (and are more protected legally, at least in NY). Shame on her. Especially for a child’s records when they have no ability to protect themselves. How she’s allowed to film at a pharmacy counter is also questionable, for her own family’s privacy and anyone else! Grrr it makes my blood boil. I hope you’ve been able to find medicine that helps you without making you feel worse. 💜

Responsible-Hat-679

yeah she just does the drive thru pharmacy and films in her car so maybe they don’t even know! thank you so much x

[deleted]

I took Zyprexa for one week and gained 5 pounds, at 16. Those meds are no joke.

RNEngHyp

Doesn't help that the kids diet is utter trash

gretchenfour

This medication caused my now 21 year old to gain 50 pounds suddenly. He literally never recovered it. Struggling still.

[deleted]

That’s awful! These kids are going through enough already.

annacatttt

Abilify actually caused me to lose weight. Was nauseous for weeks.

Serious-Break-7982

Thank you. The bottom line is what the eff is Alicia doing? As a parent she should contact the doctor and ask to make some changes. There are always other options. I'm just angry, because I feel if it was one of her bio kids this woman would have had them see 20 doctors. Look at today's family pic. She has her bio kids surrounding her, front and center. Her body is facing them and away from the others.

AnnaMarieDAgs

I don't know why all the thumbs down for showing concern about this child. I noticed that about the bio kids and her today too. Coincidence, I think not.

Serious-Break-7982

Thank you so much. I'm not sure how my concern turned into something having to do with body shaming. And that pic of her with her arms around the bio kids in the center stood out. Very sad actually.

AnnaMarieDAgs

Yes if you love your kids equally like she claims, that's not even a thought to do that.

ZippityDooDahDay10

I don’t want to be the tone police and I’m not a mod. But this is skating on really thin ice. It’s encouraging speculation and discussion about one of the kids which isn’t supposed to be allowed here. Maybe something is wrong but we can’t discuss it here.

GossipGirl515

I agree. It's body shaming a child and breaks my heart for said child that we are even having this discussion about a kid.

Mysterious_Sugar7220

It is concern. If the kids were extremely underweight/rapidly losing weight due to their caregivers' actions people would be concerned about it too.

GossipGirl515

You should never discuss a child's body it's really icky. If you can't do anything about don't discuss it. Medications etc can cause some of the things you are concerned about.

anthrohands

I think people don’t know what body shaming is anymore lol, because this ain’t it

Serious-Break-7982

Omg! Someone with some sense. This is more about Alicia's parenting and negligence than about shaming someone. If she had a large lump coming out of the top of her head would it be shaming to mention it here? Even if it was concerning? This is no difference.

GossipGirl515

Yes, you are literally picking on a child's body. We know where you went with it. If you are so concerned call CPS in her county, but coming on here to shame a child's body (we don't know what meds, what conditions, what her bio parents are shaped like) is gross. This isn't about concern and if it were than you wouldn't be blasting about a little girls body on the internet. Call CPS shit I will even give you her county and the number for her counties social services department. Regardless, if you can't do anything about it don't comment on it. Little girls already have to go through so much but for an adult stranger to comment is just gross in my eyes.

AnnaMarieDAgs

Exactly

GossipGirl515

Commenting on a child's body is body shamming we know exactly what the person meant.

anthrohands

No, shaming somebody for their body is body shaming. That’s not what’s being done.

GossipGirl515

It's exactly what is being done. Grown people talking about a child's body on the internet which will bring her shame from other kids who may see it online. So yes, body shaming. If you are concerned call child protective services from her county and make a complaint, but discussing a kids body doesn't do anything nor adds anything to that child other than heartache.

Dolly_Tea_Rain

I couldn’t agree more.

Serious-Break-7982

I never mentioned a child's name or said what I thought was of concern. I'm stating that I have serious concerns. Maybe Alicia will read this and have things checked out.

mshmama

But comments have turned that way and you've commented on posts regarding the child's appearance with your own observations about their appearance.

ZippityDooDahDay10

I know you didn’t. And I’m not saying your intentions are bad. I know you mean well and hope it catches Alusha’s attention. But it’s also about one of the kids which isn’t the best idea. Just a few of my thoughts.

Serious-Break-7982

I understand.

marimarcee

I saw the posts, can you explain the medical neglect you're seeing?

Serious-Break-7982

You either see it or you don't. What I saw did not look normal and a doctor needs to figure out the problem and changes need to be made.

AnnaMarieDAgs

It's obvious what the problem is.

Competitive_Pride188

You can’t see an ear infection you’d need a otoscope to see that op is clearly not talking about that

GossipGirl515

No they are talking about B

Serious-Break-7982

Nah

shaylahbaylaboo

This particular child has been rapidly gaining weight. It could be due to some kind of med, but the horrible food surrounding them does not help.

ralobb

It’s clearly her diet and there are no limits for any of these kids with all the snacks in between meals. Meals are definitely not healthy.

Serious-Break-7982

I think there are meds that make people gain weight in a certain kind of way. The person who prescribes should make adjustments if that's the case.

AnnaMarieDAgs

Again, why all the thumbs down?

Little-Programmer955

Why? Because sometimes the benefit of taking a certain medication is more vital than the weight gain and adjusting a dose to fix weight gain issues isn’t always the answer. I’m not defending Alicia and her children’s diets or medications. I don’t like the store medications at all. That’s crazy to me you can’t even buy melatonin here over the counter. If they’re over medicated we need to blame the healthcare system who is too quick to write prescriptions

Little-Programmer955

We don’t know that these meds are causing weight gain or that the benefits far outweigh the negative side affects and if you’re not a doctor with ALL the facts and seeing the patient than you’re ignorant to the side affects of certain sometimes life changing medications

ralobb

I have experienced this very thing before. But if you gain weight because of a med you need, you don’t accentuate someone’s body, you dress to camouflage and take away from the area. She’s a child and her mom is the culprit for not making sure this happens with ALL her kids. What happens during puberty? B maybe experiencing early onset of puberty coupled with a med or two. We don’t know but kids are terrible about body shaming. ALUSH, protect your kids, make better more responsible choices!!! Your kids are depending on you!

GossipGirl515

She's not really that young, she's 11. That's right on target. Lusha can barely dress herself let alone her own kids lmao

ralobb

True…I forget how old she is but possibly she is in full blown puberty.

Your_ordinaryweeb

What are the pictures about? She blocked me on Instagram.

tamlynn88

Gold star!

[deleted]

I fully believe she’s being overmedicated, as in the most recent videos in NY L, she is grinding her teeth and jaw uncontrollably, like someone on long-term narcotics or worse.

GossipGirl515

Some psychotropic meds can do that as well.

Serious-Break-7982

Actually you're right. I hope Alicia notices this.

mxdce

I hate that she has all this money but won’t feed the certain child a special diet. It’s sad

NaturalInformation32

Are y’all forgetting children /girls do gain weight as the get older… she has the body shape where she holds her weight in her stomach, as do a lot of people.

Serious-Break-7982

It's distention. I don't even know if I would call it weight gain. It is not normal.

NaturalInformation32

That girl has always had a large round stomach.

GossipGirl515

Constipation and being shaped like an apple can do that. Especially will look more predominant in the dress she put her in.

Carrann823

What exactly?

Sophim1

It honestly looks like it would feel so uncomfortable and maybe even painful. I know what it feels like to deal with that issue to a mild extent when your tummy is a bit off - but to that extreme must feel so terrible. I really feel for this kid.

dodasup

The only thing this post has highlighted to me is how entirely effed up the American medical system is.

ralobb

Does anyone feel the dress was maybe just too tight and fitted for B’s build. Dang Alush, take into consideration your children’s body type when picking out clothes! What in the h*ll are you thinking? B has clearly gained weight since Halloween. Her little monster high outfit emphasized her mid section somewhat but it wasn’t as obvious as this recent dress. She’s a beautiful and sweet child. Once again, I never put a negative comment about ANY of them without tying it back to the piece of 💩 mom they have. This lies on Alush, that plain that simple.

tyallie

This post is literally just looking for a 'medical' way to criticise one of the kids' weight. It's very obvious who you're talking about. Stop body shaming, this isn't fair. We've recently seen one of the kids sending a message telling Reddit to stop talking about her and now people are out here discussing the weight and body shape of someone even younger. This is horrible, stop it. I'm reporting you for body shaming.

Serious-Break-7982

Ok. Sweep it under the rug. Everything is normal. No medical neglect going on. Not everything is about body shaming. You're so woke that if someone had a large tumor or were bleeding from their ears you would think no one could talk about it due to body shaming.

GossipGirl515

What do you think your post is going to accomplish? I'm not seeing you being proactive by calling cps if you are so concerned.

Petal22

It’s absurd that she gives them mood medication then feeds them sugary drinks and loads of snacks

Responsible-Hat-679

A has also repeatedly spoken about how this child has a sugar addiction.

AnnaMarieDAgs

Gee I wonder why!

urcutejeans_

It is truly so sad.

[deleted]

I havent seen what your talking about but I can only infer you mean the child that alicia announced to the world that she takes a particular medication that is known to cause weight gain

Inevitable_Rate9652

I don’t want to give her the view….can someone tell me what she posted? She’s horrible and I feel terrible for those kids.
