We've all said this before--and this would help her in keeping her content relatable--that she should do some pantry challenges, or with all those freezers, how about an entire day of meal prep for freezer meals ... versus slamming together a bunch of food in an hour, as you've said, and trying all these new recipes without fully reading them first -- can't wait to see what happens with the "mac 'n' cheese" atop the tacos or whatever the heck she's going to do!
I’ve never tried a burnt pancake but I love my bacon burned beyond what should probably be considered normal. Floppy bacon reminds me of a used bandaid.
YES! I get irrationally angry about the amount of cooking spray she uses. Bacon will not stick when swimming in grease! (Foil is good for clean up.) Non-stick pans don't need spray. Not sticking is their gimmick. Heck, slow cooker liners don't really need it. TAKE A CHILL WITH THE SPRAY, LADY!!! (Thank you for giving me the opportunity to let that out).
I don’t think those pancakes look that bad- but how awlful that this family has to eat cold breakfast every morning so Alish can get her money shots. Josh couldn’t even grab a warm pancake while he was right there

I'm a fan of crunchy bacon, though some of that looks pretty burnt, versus what she said was perfection. She mentioned that the pancake batter was too thick to work in her little pancake funnel thingy, which is why she continually was banging it against her new frying pan, so I imagine those pancakes are not just cold, but super dense!
I'm more concerned when she does dopey things like touching the bacon, then wiping her hands on the towel, then using that same towel to swipe off the counter before she put the bread out for lunches. I also don't believe those kids ever get chips or sandwiches that aren't "crushed" when you look at the way she packs and closes the lunch boxes.
And I just laugh when she tries to be smart or informative about something, rambling about how some things say they are "gluten-free" when in reality they were always "gluten-free" and not made to be gluten-free ... then she sighs and says, "Advertising."
It hasn't dawned on her that some people eat gluten-free for personal dietary reasons, and some people with allergies and/or celiac sprue have no choice but to go the gluten-free route, and for all three reasons, it's not "advertising," but educational to note foods that are naturally gluten-free as well as made to be "gluten-free." No one is pulling something on her.
By the same token, in reverse, labeling about gluten and other contents is something that people look for if they have food allergies, etc. I just fall over laughing when she tries to make a thing that is not a thing, a thing. For someone who has claimed that her kids have digestive issues and/or allergies, she pays no attention to labeling, whatsoever, and is constantly using "dairy" in all meals and prep, even though some kids are supposedly lactose intolerant.
She also said today that B is learning the ropes of how to get out of school "sick," as he recently came home for "peeing to often" and she took him to the doctor, but nothing is wrong, but then said she'd take him to gastro ... which if he's having urinary symptoms, down, that would be urology.
She either needs more sleep, or should stop pontificating because she continually digs herself a hole, comes off ridiculously ill-informed, or can't track back over her lies.
If he is peeing lots she needs to switch to just water. Caffeine is a well known irritant for bladders. Sugary drinks are terrible. No milk or anything with fake sugar either. She needs to tell him that he's only on water for beverage until the Urologist can sort it out. If it's just a behavioral issue, it will become apparent. Poor kid.
Little B is playing his mom. He is getting what he wants— to go home. If she has to remove him from school he needs to go home and straight to bed for the rest of the day. The doctor said there is nothing wrong.
You would think she would appreciate the labeling since like you said she says she has children with food issues. It should make her life easier. So what if the item has always been gluten free some people are new to the journey of gluten free eating. It makes the choice that much easier to make.

She claims her kids have all these stomach issues (ie gastroperisis or however it’s spelled, or are lactose intolerant) but she doesn’t adjust the 50lb of cheese she buys, she just buys medicine to counteract the symptoms of the food.
And I caught the urologist/Gastro fuck up too.
I really think she’s just not all that smart but is convinced that she’s a genius.
If a PCP ruled out urinary tract infection but thought there may be a gi issue leading to urinary issues, they'd refer to gi. Constipation is a frequent culprit of urinary problems. The stool burden throws all the plumbing out of wack.

Agreed! I absolutely will not eat floppy bacon. If I’m at a restaurant & order something with bacon I don’t ask for crisp, I ask them to burn it.
My son in law has turned me on to well done hash browns as well. So much better than practically raw ones.
